Chapter 4

"EDRIC! GET DOWN HERE! BREAKFAST IS READY!" He heard his sister, Emira call. He, groaned, rolling over and cuddled the snowball even more.

"Five more minutes!" He yelled back, not wanting to get out of bed.

"IN FIVE MORE MINUTES THE TOAST WILL BE GONE!" He heard his other sister, Amity shout.
(Do they even have toast? Or bread for that matter?)
He then gasped, shooting out of bed. "MITTENS LEAVE MY TOAST ALONE OR I SWEAR TO TITAN I'LL TELL LUZ YOU LIKE HER!" He yelled, rushing out of bed and into the dining room. "Do that and your dead." Amity responded, glaring daggers at her brother. "And stop calling me mittens!" She yelled, a small blush on her face.

Edric, Emira, and Amity all walked back to their rooms, the twins teasing Amity about her crush the whole way.

"Luz and Amity sittin' in a tree. K-i-s-s-i-n-g! First comes Grom, then comes marriage, then comes-" "SHUT UP!" Amity yelled, slamming the door to her room in their faces. The twins laughed as they continued walk to their rooms.
"Did you see the look on her face?"
"Yeah, she's so mad!"
"Her face was even redder than it is when she's around Luz!"
They then walked into their separate rooms, still laughing about how they got Amity so worked up.

Edric's laughter slowly died down as he walked back to his bed, finding the snowball where he had left it. His face softened as he looked at his lover. "I'm back!" He proclaimed to the snowball as he gently held the snowball in his hands. "Sorry I abandoned you, but in my defense, Mittens might have eaten my toast!" He explained, hoping they would understand. Suddenly, there was a knock on his door, causing him to freeze in fear. Who cold it be? He quickly hid the snowball in a drawer in his nightstand as he didn't want anyone to know about his secret relationship.

He then got up, moving slowly to the door. He then ,shakily put a hand on the doorknob, turning it and opening it.

(Cliffhanger time! I'm sorry I haven't updated this sooner! I wasn't on Wattpad that much. But I hope you all enjoyed this chapter!
