For me, I don't really like our government in the Philippines. Because they turned the Philippines into the top notcher of Covid cases, which is you know, expected for a corrupt government. Our president is full of lies and "Kapal ng Mukha," Oh, You wanna know why? It's because he didn't even do one single helpful thing in our country. Instead of prioritizing natural disaster needs and the safety of its people, they steal our money for their own advantages and use it for their own wants. Just like the dolomite sand project, the money for it could have been used for stacks of food and supplies for the last typhoon victims. It can also be used for the front liner's supplies like face masks and PPE. The unlawful use of a person's position while in power leads to multiple problems with today's government. The corrupt methods politicians use are ideas that are strictly in place for personal gain. Present throughout history and still prevalent within today's world, government corruption has consisted of a number of negative issues including, economic and social impacts, and the misuse of power. Another thing that our government lacks is knowledge. These political people just got in because of their money and fame, they lack knowledge on how to make this country a better place. They just want power and do not care about their people. Manny Pacquiao for example, he's a famous boxer that just decided to be a senator there and there. He did graduate with a bachelor's degree in political science, but that doesn't mean he is a good senator. He only just got in because he's a celebrity. And I say our government is dead, by dead I mean there's no hope for them. We can't fully trust ourselves to them anymore.
