Y/n realised her summer isn't going to be any good. Her father planned a vacation across the country to meet his side of family, and decides to take Y/n too.

" I can just stay! " She had argued, only to be shut down by a glare. She huffed and packed her stuff.

She wanted to meet Peter and Ned before she left. They'd be upset, but at least she was coming back after the summer.

She texted the two to meet by the café and made herself presentable before heading out.

Reaching the café in five minutes through her car, Y/n found only Ned. She sighed through her nose, hoping Peter wasn't ignoring her and walked in.

" Hey, Ned. Where's Peter? " Y/n asks, Ned could feel the nervousness radiating off of her and he knew something was wrong.

" I don't know. He didn't answer my texts. "

Y/n slumped in her seats, thanking Ned for ordering coffee and took a sip. " This is hard. Promise you won't get mad? "

" Are you some superhero? " Ned says, jumping in his seat. " No, Ned. I'm going England for vacation. I'm sorry, I tried to convince dad but he won't budge. "

Ned's smile faded for a few seconds, than he grinned. " But we're having loads for movie nights after that? " Y/n laughed, not expecting the reaction and nodded.

" Sure. That's not even a question. You don't think Peter is avoiding me, do you? He's not texting back since last night. " Y/n turned to the door and sighed, spotting just an old man coming in.

" No. He's not texting me back either.
Chill! " Ned could see the glint of worry in her eyes and smiled.

" How am I supposed to tell him? I'm leaving tonight! " Y/n whined, texting the boy once more. " I think you should go to his house. "

Y/n nodded and got up. " Thanks, Ned. I promise we'll have fun when I get back. Besides, being a Sophomore won't be a trouble, I hope. "

She chuckled as Ned waved his hand dismissively and Y/n grabbed her stuff and made her way outside with Ned. " I'll see you after summer. " Y/n gave him a bro hug, " Do you want a drive? "

Dropping Ned off, Y/n reached Parker's resident and made her way to his floor and knocked on the door. May opened it with a smile and Y/n grinned.

" Hey, May!! Is Peter home? " May pulled her in a hug and hummed. " I'm kinda worried. He's been sleeping for two days. He doesn't have a fever but he's sleepy. You can go see him. "

" Okay, I'll see. Don't worry, he must be tired. " Y/n flashed another reassuring smile and made her way to Peter's room.

Pushing the door open, she peeked in to find Peter fast asleep, covered in his sheets she loved so much. She chuckled and walked towards him.

" Peter! " She shook him, crouching in front of him and Peter didn't even stirr. She frowned and checked for fever, no sign.

She sighed through her nose and stared at the boy, pushing his curls out of the way in process.

" This is cute. " She mumbled, propping her chin on her fist and stared at him for who knows how long. Snapping out of her trance, Y/n widened her eyes and blushed out of embarrassment.

" Peter! Wake up! " She shook him wildly and Peter stirred. " I'm leaving New York! " Peter still didn't wake up.

Groaning as Y/n felt a buzz, she knew it was her father. She sighed and stared at Peter before grabbing a piece of paper and writing a note for him.
