Chapter 6 FWB

Major Timeskip--

Senior year was near to an end and Y/n was happily dating Zayn, at least she was trying to and she was almost there to accept the fact that she's dating Zayn and he's a good guy.

Peter and Y/n were on talking terms, but it was nothing like before. She felt like she was almost invisible to him at the start but they started talking normally but nothing like they were best friends. It was mostly awkward but she managed.

Usually, their study sessions were awkward and filled with tension, but Peter couldn't handle it very well. He was still dating Liz, he couldn't break up with her. He settled with adjusting instead.

But most of it, he could only kiss her. It was nothing like he kissed Y/n. He couldn't feel the heat, the Sparks and the feelings he felt while he kissed Y/n and he knew he should try harder, but everytime he saw Y/n and Zayn together, his build up courage would crumble and he finds himself from the start.

Y/n always found it hard to watch Peter and Liz together, but she was better at hiding since past few months. She usually took a deep breath, trying not to either glare at Liz or get up and leave.

She was currently sitting on her bed, curled up into Zayn as they watched movies. Zayn was rubbing small circles on her thigh, causing Y/n to get a few flashbacks of the way Peter did it with so much perfection. She didn't object, but she was definitely uncomfortable.

" What college are you applying for? " Zayn asked and Y/n looked up.

" Columbia. I wanted to graduate school of Arts and Sciences. " Y/n says and Zayn's face fell.

" I'm going to Yale. " He says and Y/n chuckled.

" We'll meet after hours, why are you worrying so much? " She asks and Zayn shook his head.

" Can't you, like change the courses? " He asks and Y/n frowned.

" You're not serious! Mum has already said she applied for me. " She mumbled sitting up and Zayn sighed.

" I just want to stay close. " He says and Y/nsighed.

" You're already moving out. Maybe you can find an apartment near my campus! That'll be easy for us. " Y/n suggests and Zayn hesitently nods.

" Besides, Yale is not that far from Columbia and it won't be hard for you to transport. " She says and Zayn hummed.

" Alright. That's a good idea. " He says pulling her back. Y/n chuckled and continued watching the movie.

She didn't know about Ned, MJ and Peter yet. She knew she was in no place to ask Peter about what University he'll be going so she didn't ask the other two either.

Waking up in Zayn's arms was still different for Y/n. She had definitely lost a piece of her when she had cuddled with Peter that night and she still wasn't use to this.

" Morning! " Zayn pecks her lips and
Y/n grinned.

" Morning. You should go before mum and Dad arrive. " Y/n suggests and Zayn got up.

" When are you telling them though? " He asks and Y/n sighed.

" It's hard to explain. They don't like the idea of me dating and I don't want them interfering so I didn't tell them. " Y/n says and Zayn nods.

" It's fine. Tell them when you're ready. I'll be leaving, bye. " He says pressing a kiss on her cheek and left.

Y/n sighed, waiting for her acceptance letter. She knew she'd get in. Her GPA was good, straight A'd and all of her classes were AP.
