"But you like him."
"I don't!"
"Oh please."
"It doesn't even matter anyway."
Well, technically I wasn't lying. I knew full well that I didn't like Luke Hemmings. I thought he was cute, and sweet, and funny, and kind. The way his eyes shut tight when he let out a loud laugh. How he bit his lip ring when he was nervous, or lost in his own thoughts. How he would sometimes wear his sunglasses indoors, thinking that it would hide his sadness somehow. The way we could talk about the most random things, and be fine with that, even though we'd only known each other a little while. All because his weird matched my weird.
No, there was no way I liked Luke Hemmings. I was definitely, uncontrollably, and ridiculously in love with him!
