~ Six Months Later ~

"Hey, you"

I tap Luke's shoulder from behind, making him spin around quickly. He grins grabbing me by the waist, picking me up and spinning me. I giggle, holding on to him tightly. I'd missed him so much, I was almost afraid of letting go. He stops and I lean in, kissing him tenderly, pulling on his lip ring gently before moving away.

"What are you doing here? I mean like, how did you get back here? How are you even here? When did you get here?" He asks quickly

"Okay, well, I'm here to see you, those idiots finally did something right and called in advance telling airport security I needed to be back here, I got here on a plane and I arrived yesterday" I grinned

He looked at the guys and they all gave him a nod with a smile.

"I was going to come and visit you in London though" he turns back to me, and I laugh

"Why would you go to London? It's cold and raining and autumn. Aus is way better, it's warm and sunny and it's spring so like... Pretty" I look down quickly then back at him, "and you can put me down now"

"Oh sorry" he smiles putting me down, "so where are you staying?"

"Anne let me crash at hers" I then whisper to him, "she says I'm not as weird as Ash, so she didn't mind me staying" He laughs loudly, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we make our way to the back of the airport, where their car is waiting for them, "hey, aren't you guys going to meet fans?"

"Not today" Calum answers from behind me.

"How come?" I ask, slightly confused, "I thought you always meet fans when you get home?"

"Airport security says we can't apparently" Mikey says, he sounds annoyed though, "they're just lazy"

"Come on Mikey, don't be like that, they said they were understaffed today and can't risk anything" Ash tells him, patting him on the back

"Lazy!" Mikey says again, slightly louder this time

I look up at Luke, "is he just grumpy from the flight, or is he being serious?"

"Oh no, he's serious, Mike hates when we don't get to meet fans. Thinks it's rude because they've been waiting for however long, we all do actually, he just shows it in a more verbal way" he smiles down at me

"Aww, that's sweet" I move away slightly as we come to the back door of the airport

Luke looks at me confused, "what are you doing? Get back here!"

"Just because we're leaving out the back doesn't mean people won't still see you" I sigh

"So?" He wraps his arm around me again, "let them see" he grins

That evening Luke took me back to the secluded beach, back where it had all started. He had planned a picnic for us, saying he wanted somewhere private and that meant something.

"This is where you hit me in the head with a rugby ball" I laugh as he lays out the blanket

"Yeah, I'm kind of glad I did though" he smiles, sitting down and pulling me with him

"How rude" I gasp over dramatically

"Well, just think," he says, and moves me onto his lap, "if I hadn't hit you, we wouldn't of gone to the car, you wouldn't have decided to walk, we wouldn't have gone to that café with extremely bad coffee, I wouldn't have shouted penis... That I could have lived without," he laughs, "but if you think about it, my bad aim started this all"

I watch him fondly. I loved watching him talk, especially when he got excited, his face would light up, and his eyes would almost sparkle with excitement and his features would soften, making him look like a little kid. Fuck was I stupidly in love with this 6'4", man child.

"Luke, I've seen you play with the guys, if anything, your aim as actually pretty spot on" I raise my eyebrows at him knowingly

"Maybe I was just having a bad day" he smirks and I nod slowly, "and do you know what else?"

"What?" I ask, resting my head on his shoulder, kissing his neck lightly, over and over, making him giggle

"This was the first place you ever called me Lukey" he looks down at me

"When I beat you at pool" I grinned

"You said you sucked" he pouted

"I do, just not at pool" I winked cheekily

Both of us laughed then just talked about anything and everything, just like we had done that day, before I left Australia. It was different this time though, nothing like before, we were completely comfortable, everything we wanted to say to each other had been said. We were together this time and that's all that mattered.

We kissed and cuddled while he fed me cherries, remembering they were my favorite fruit, and he had strawberries. It got slightly messy when I discovered a jar of Nutella, we thought it'd be a good idea to dip the fruit in, it sort of was, they tasted nice, when we managed to actually get it in our mouths.

The night was romantic and sweet, simple and fun, just like it was being with Luke. We whispered 'I love you' to each other repeatedly as the sky became darker and the stars came out. We lay on the blanket just looking up at the beauty of the night sky. I was cuddled up close to him, with my head on his shoulder, kissing his jaw every once in a while. He put his jacket over me as the chill picked up, since it was a clear night.

I rest on my elbow looking down at him with a smile, "what?" He asked, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear

"Nothing, I just like looking at you" I shrug

He wrapped his hand around the back of my neck, pulling me down to him and our lips touched, and like always, my whole body melted, there were fireworks and explosions, I felt shivers down my spine, yet everything inside was as if on fire. This is how Luke made me feel, every time we touched, every time we kissed. Every time was like the first time.

He pulled back slightly and smiled up at me, "what?" It was my turn to ask

"I love you" he said softly, "Stay with me?" and my heart skipped a beat, I kissed him lightly

"I'm not going anywhere, Lukey"
