~HRVY's pov~ 

Today, me and my girlfriend Amy are going to my parent's house for Christmas day. I shouted for her, 'pumpkin, come on we need to leave in an hour or so!'

'Ok, I will be down in two seconds babes!'

She has met my mum a couple of times but hasn't met my dad so she is trying to look her best. I watched her come downstairs in a black skin-tight dress and black heels with her gorgeous brown hair - I started feeling the same feeling I felt when I first met her.

'You look gorgeous.' I smiled.

'Thanks babe.' I hugged her and gave her a kiss. I put all of the presents in my car, whilst doing that I almost fell stepping out of the house. Amy started laughing at me, 'shush you!' she ran up to me and pretended to kiss me but moved when I went to kiss her back. I looked at her and bit my lip trying not to laugh  'just get in the car.' I said laughing.

I almost forgot the most important present.

'I will be right back, I need to grab something.' I ran up to the bedroom and grabbed a little black box. I went back to the car.

'You get everything?'

'Yeah let's go.' I put Amy's favourite song on, High by HRVY, which is me. Amy was singing her heart out to the whole song. I couldn't help but smile. We finally got to my mum's house, my mum and dad came to the door and gave me and Amy a hug. My dad looked at me and put his thumb up to me saying, 'she is gorgeous, son.'

'She is, isn't she.' I said as I put my arm around her, she went red.

'Come on, come in'

'Harvey do you want me to help you?'

'No I will be ok you just go sit down in the conservatory with my mum.' Me and my dad got the presents from the car and our clothes to put them in my room. We went back down stairs to see Amy and my mum talking. My mum asked if we wanted to watch a movie and just chill out tonight with some popcorn. We all said yes and we ended up watching Home Alone because it's mine and Amy's favourite Christmas movie. We cuddled on the couch. When it ended, we all went up to bed. Amy put her Christmas pyjamas on and got into bed with me, I just went to sleep in my boxers. Amy turned over and I spooned her until we fell asleep.

 ~The Next Morning (Christmas Morning)~

I got up and went on my phone for a little bit before I woke up Amy by acting like a 5-year-old jumping on the bed and screaming 'It's Christmas get up!'

'No! Go away babe.'

I buried my face in her neck and said 'but Santa has been...'

'Come on then.' She huffed.

I ran down stairs holding Amy's hand, my mum and dad were already down stairs. I say in a sad voice 'Santa didn't come.'

My dad ended up saying, 'yeah he didn't come to me either.' Amy went up to our room and got my presents and the stuff we got my mum and dad so I went up and got her stuff but she will have to wait for the big surprise later. We finished opening our presents and went to get dressed. I was wearing a red jumper and some black jeans, Amy was wearing a white dress with a black knitted jacket, the same heels as yesterday with some makeup - not that she needed it. My gran and grandad came in and some of my auntie's, uncle's, cousin's and family friends came in as well. Me and Amy said to all of them Merry Christmas. My mum shouted for everybody to come and eat. For starters we had soup and bread. The main course was my mum's famous turkey. When we finished I got given my presents for my family and most of them got Amy something too. When we finished dinner we chilled for a little bit before I went upstairs to get the little black box that could change mine and Amy's life. My mum started playing our songs, at the chorus I came in and got her to stand up. I started singing to her and at the end of the song I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.

'Amy Samways, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?'

'Yes! Yes! Yes of course I will marry you!' 

'Well that's good because it would have been really awkward if you said no.' I got up and hugged her, picking her off the floor, spinning around and kissing her.

My little cousin screamed 'get a room Harvey!' leaving us all laughing. We had ice cream and strawberries then everyone started to leave so I picked up Amy and ran up to our room with her legs wrapped around my waist. When we got in the room, I put her on the bed and lay on top of her singing 'We are getting married!' she giggled.

I kissed her passionately and hugged her

'It's you and me forever pumpkin.'
