-No POV-

'I'm almost there, she is going to freak out when she sees me.'

-Aisha's POV-

‘Aisha, get up it's christmas!’ My mum shouted.

‘Coming mum!’ I replied back, jumping out of bed and excitedly sprinting down the stairs.

I got into the living room and saw all the different sized presents under the Christmas tree. Me and my mum looked at all the colourful wrapping paper, each with gold or silver bows and labels, sitting patiently under the carefully decorated pine tree. One very big box caught my eye - that one will wait until last. I took my time opening all the presents, thanking my mum and handing her presents to her. I studied the big box that was now in front of me. It was wide and came up to my hip. Different types of wrapping paper was covering it with a note on the top that said

'Open Me (Quick, I might die).'

I raised my eyebrow towards my mum, ‘what on earth does ''quick, I might die'' mean? Is it Harvey Mills? HRVY Cantwell?’ Laughing, I tapped on the box lightly as a joke - I wasn't expecting it to tap back. Startled, I stepped back a bit and looked towards my mum who was laughing slightly.

‘Just open it and see.’ she smiled widely, gesturing towards the box.

’So it could be...’ I wiggled my eyebrows up and down, as my mum rolled her eyes playfully. I tore the wrapping paper bit by bit…

A blonde girl with mossy green eyes, a small figure, pale skin and rosy cheeks was sitting in it. I quickly wrapped my arms around her and tried not to cry. My vision became blurry as I looked at her.

‘Oh my gosh, Kera is it really you?’

‘No I'm HRVY Cantwell obviously.' The scottish girl teased, rolling her eyes playfully and nudging me a little.

I giggled a little as I said 'pfft I wish.' We laughed again as Kera got out of the box. My mum hugged her and wished her a merry christmas. Me and Kera laughed and joked as my mum retrieved a small envelope out of her pocket.

'I believe this is for you.'

'Aww thanks Kera. You got me a card.' I hugged her again.

'Erm, no I didn't…' Kera looked confused as did I. My mum had a smile on her face as I hesitantly opened the envelope.

'This is a place you sleep,
But this is also a place you can weep.
We decorated the room in purple,
Hopefully we don't get into too much trouble.
Some people say I'm a spoon,
But do you?
Come say hi to me,
Under the christmas tree.'

Me and Kera read the note out loud and looked at each other, confusion laced in our faces.

'A place you sleep and weep?' I questioned.

'Purple?' Kera repeated thoughtfully.

'What room is decorated purple?' I asked. My mum had stayed quiet this whole time as me and Kera discussed what this riddle could mean.
