The Boy Next Door (Urushihara X Reader)

Chapter 2: First Night

~~~~* Your POV *~~~~

I can't stop thinking about that Urushihara guy. He kinda seems like me. I never know exactly what to say, or if what I say will offend someone, but he seems like a really cool guy.

~~~~* 2nd Person POV *~~~~

You are lying in bed fresh out of the shower in your casual nightwear, when you hear a knock at the door.

"Jeez what time is it?" You think out loud, but quiet enough where no one can hear you.

You turn and look at your bedside clock. "Really? It's 11:00. Why is someone knocking at my door at this hour?" You think to yourself.

As you walk to answer it, you stumble over something and stub your pinky toe. You try not to scream, but a couple of squeals slip out. The person at the door knocks again.

"Just a minute." You say frustrated, though trying your best not to raise your voice. You answer the door and it is Urushihara.

"Why are you crying? What happened?" He asks with a look of confusion.

"Huh? Oh that... I'm not crying, my eyes are watering. Nothing's wrong." You say quietly.

"What do you want anyways?" You ask in a rude manor, though that was not intended.

"Jeez sorry I didn't mean to bother you, I was just wanting to know if you would like to go on a walk with me tomorrow so I can show you around town." He replies.

"Sure that sounds nice, and I didn't mean to sound rude. Its just that I stubbed my toe and it really hurts." you say with a pouty voice towards the end of the sentence.

He kneels down to look at your toe.
"Yeah it has a little scratch and it's bleeding. Stay here, I'll be right back." He says in a gentle voice.
You stand there unaware of why he left. You hear him coming back down the hall.

"Here this should help." He says as he hands you a bandage for your toe.
"How did you not realize it was bleeding?" He asks.

"Well I had just turned out the light and laid down in bed when you knocked," you say as you apply the bandage, "I don't know, I guess I wasn't very focused on it."

"Wow, no offense but you are pretty clumsy. Try to be more careful next time, okay?"
You blush a little and say "Okay."

You two talk for a while about where to meet, what time, and a few other things until you notice he slowly starts dozing off.

"Do I wake him up? Do I leave him be? I mean if I had to I could go stay the night with Misty," you think to yourself. "No she is probably asleep. I could call her. But she isn't exactly a light sleeper." You step out into the hall and call her, she answers.

"You do realize what time it is right? You better be happy I wasn't asleep." She kids with you.

"I know. Shut up, this is important." you say

"What? What happened?" She questions frantically.

"Um did you meet that Urushihara guy?" you ask.

"Yeah I bumped into him on my way to give you your groceries. Why?... Oh no what did you do?" Misty asks.

"Listen Mist it isn't anything like that okay. We just talked, but.... He dozed off and I don't want to be rude and wake him. I think I have made enough bad impressions today." you reply.

"If you are asking to spend the night at my place, then grab a pillow and blanket and come on." she says
You can't see it but you know she is rolling her eyes at you.

"Thanks Mist." you say quietly.

You quickly jot down a note on a sheet of paper and tape it to the inside of the door. It reads, "Don't forget 9am outside your place. Hope you slept well." You grab the key walk out the door and lock it.
