~~~~* Urushihara's POV *~~~~
-Flash Back-
"What happened?" I ask, causing ____ to whip her head around and face me. "Urushihara! You're finally awake! I was so worried. You just blacked out. I had to help you home.... and I-I didn't... I had no idea what happened to you." She cried, quickly moving to my side. She laid her head on my chest and I could feel her body shaking. "I'm sorry to scare you so bad." I say quietly. What happened... To me?
-Flash Back Over-
Although it's been a few years since I destroyed half of Tokyo, my face is still some what known. This caused a problem when trying to explain to ____ why I couldn't go see a doctor all those months ago. I know, now, why I'd blacked out. I guess it was stress induced. Having that dream and ____ reminding me of it a few times that day. I'm just glad she knows nothing about what it meant.
"Hey Uru?" Her voice chimes. That name, she decided to shorten my name. I like it though. She's so adorable. "Hmm?" I hum. "Are you still having those nightmares?" She asks, shooting me a stern but concerned look. I'd finally decided to tell her about my nightmares, but I never went into detail. I only told her that I was having these really vivid dreams that stressed me out and caused me to have sleep problems. After a few failed attempts to get more information about said dreams out of me, ____ finally gave up. "Not as often. But don't worry about me. Just, enjoy the movie." I reply quietly.
It's starting to get pretty cold outside. ____ has started wearing adorable winter gear. "Do you celebrate any of the holidays around this time of year?" She asks. "Umm... Not usually. Well, I wouldn't call having a bunch of people in a tiny apartment and having a fight with Emi annually a 'celebration'" I answer. "Hmm, I still haven't figured her out." ____ and Emi had made up a few weeks after the fight. I personally thought ___ would choke her or something when it happened. That crazed look in her eye.... Reminded me of.... The old me. "Well, this year you're celebrating with me. It doesn't have to be for a particular holiday, but you'll be with me." She says, snuggling into my chest as she looks up at me with slight puppy eyes.
Normally I'd be blushing like mad or get a nose bleed from this, But truthfully I'm way too tired. "Sound like a plan?" She smiles a toothy, bright, white smile. "Of course." I smile back meekly, ruffling the top of her hair. She adjusts herself where she is resting on her knees in the bed and leans over to kiss me on the cheek. "Want to go look at the stars?" She offers. "Nah I think I'll just laze around here." I groan, playfully. She removes her laptop from the bed, pausing the movie I'm sure neither of us payed attention to, then grabbed a small pillow from the bed.
She hits me lightly on the back with the pillow as I roll over on my stomach. "C'mon lazy bones! I'll make you hot chocolate! Or hot tea! Heck even coffee if you just love me and get your buns over to the window! It's only like five feet away." She whines. "Fine. I want tea." I reply, as I mope over to the window. "I'll make tea for two then." She says happily, skipping over to the tea pot.
Why'd I lie to her? The dreams weren't becoming more scarce, they were becoming more frequent. If I were human Id've surely been hospitalized due to exhaustion by now. They are also beginning to take a toll on my conscience. I've started to have visions of me.... Harming ___. And I don't like it. If it keeps up, I'll willingly go back to Ente Isla with Emi.
An odd thought soon came to my head. I'd like to take ____ to Ente Isla some day. That thought soon faded into a new fear. If I brought her there with me she'd see my real form and freak out. She'd leave me. "What ya thinking so hard about?" I hear her voice coo, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hmm? Oh. Nothing, just daydreaming." I sigh. That can't happen. She drapes her arms around my neck and sways back and forth. "You cant see the stars through the curtains." She giggles, walking in front of me and pulls the curtains apart. She sat next to me and rested her head on my shoulder looking up at the stars.
"Beautiful." I state looking down at her. She nods her head, not noticing my staring. "They really are." She states. I chuckle a bit, and she looks up at me, making eye contact. "Not them, doofus. You." I say, planting a loving kiss on her lips. We're interrupted by a shrieking teapot. ____ jumps lightly at the sound. "Don't go anywhere." She states hurriedly. "Where would I got even if I wanted to leave?" I ask. "I don't know. Maybe back to your own apartment." She says sassily. I laugh and walk over to her, where she's poring hot tea. I wrap my arms around her waist and set my head on her shoulder. "Now why would I do that? I like being with you much more." I say sleepily.
Please don't let this amazing thing end. I don't want to have to leave her.
