Bonus Chapter (Since I updated so late. Also because I'll be away all weekend.)
===========================~~~~~* Urushihara's POV *~~~~~
(At the Diner)The small diner is an old sixty themed place. The door is towards the far left corner of the building. directly infront of the door is a small hallway like area with about four or five 2 person booths along the left wall. On the right there is a counter top with a swing door that opens into the open cooking kitchen. Farther down the wall are three two person booths.
To the left of the door is a think wall with a few shelves holding store merchandise. All t-shirts, cups, mugs, ect. are labeled with the diner's name and logo.
On the other side of the wall are four, four person booths. then there is a six person booth in the far corner and on the back right wall of the diner are two more four person booths.
In the center of all the seats is a counter top table set up with about eight stools and the open kitchen. To the right of the kitchen is an old juke box with a sight above it.
The sign reads:
"5 cents per song." (The diner is American themed. Because I don't live in Japan and have never been there to see their diners. And I don't know the equivalence of five cents in yen.)
Our waiter shows us towards a two person table close to the door on the left wall. He then sets a plastic triangular prism on the table, labeled 2.
In an attempt to be gentlemanly I allow _____ to sit first, then I take a seat. "So, how's your work coming along?" I ask. "Work's okay, I get tired of the rude callers though." She replies. "I was actually talking about the school work you have to do." I say a bit quietly. "Oh, sorry, Ummm.... the school work is kinda hard to be honest. Two months here and I still can't get some of the characters down. And the math they're making me do online is pretty.... complicated." She sighs. "Do you think I'll be able to visit you're home country?" I ask a bit sadly, I haven't been anywhere outside of Japan since we got here. "Sure, But you'll have to save up for a two way airfare ticket." she replies. "I'd rather not talk about the subject of going home, even though I still have a while before I have to leave. I just don't want to think about it."Not too much later the waiter comes to take our orders. "You can order first." I offer her. "Oh, okay. I'll have a (burger/chicken/salad) with as side of (fries/ [preferred sauce]/ vegetables)." She states. "And you sir?" The waiter asks. "I have a burger and fries please." I request. "They should be out in a few minutes." The waiter says, as he turns and takes the order to the open kitchen. "Urushihara? D-do you think..." She stops mid sentence, "No, never mind. I'm sorry that subject will probably make our relationship uncomfortable." I stay silent for a minute in thought then decide to ask about it, "What were you gonna say?" She hesitates, "Do you think we'll ever get married?" She asks seeming a bit troubled by the thought. I don't know if what I'm about to do is at the right time or not but I have to try. "We can take it slow if you want, but there's one thing I know." She focuses her gaze in my direction. "I never want to leave your side." I say feeling my face grow warm and my heart skip a beat.
"____, I-.... You changed my life." I move out of my booth and take a seat next to her. "There's something I've been meaning to give you." I pull out the small flip open box and had it to her. "Before you get to excited or worried because you're not ready to be a bride, It's not a wedding ring." She opens the top, speechless. "It's a promise ring, I decided that I was ready to give you one." She wraps me in a tight hug as if saying she didn't want me to leave, when she finally lets go she gives me a wide smile and I can see small tears rolling down her face. "Thank you so much. I adore it. Did you intend it to match my necklace?" She asks. "Of course I did." When she's finally stopped tearing up I hold her close to me and give her a passionate kiss. "Y'know, the first time we exchanged 'I love you's I was kind of worried that it was too soon. I was worried that it was meaningless because of how easy the words rolled off our tongues, but as our relationship progressed I could tell that we both really meant it." She says quietly. "I felt the same way surprisingly." I say.
"His words probably were meaningless." I hear. I feel my heart rate increase and my blood begin to boil at the words.
"Emi! What are you doing here?" ____ basically demands. "I came to stop this little act. Urushihara doesn't love you! He's a cold hearted demon, incapable of loving." She says.
~~~~* Your POV *~~~~
"I can't believe you would take it this far!" I yell. "You are the one who refused to believe me." She says. "So you show up on our date and call my boyfriend names, making yourself look like a stalker and psychopath?" I retort. "Just listen to me for once!" She yells. "Y'know what, no! I've listened and heard you out and been quite freaking tolerant of you're repulsive behavior, I'm done with you! Insult my boyfriend one more time and I don't know what I'll do." I scream, grabbing Urushihara's hand and leading him out of the diner. "Probably file a restraining order." I say quietly. "Urushihara, you're my angel and nothing will change that." I say kissing him lightly.
~~~~* Urushihara's POV *~~~~
"Urushihara, you're my angel and nothing will change that." She says before kissing me lightly.
I know who you really are now.
I can hardly even remember the walk home, all I know is now I'm at ____'s and she's scared for my heath. I think I just woke up.
