Harrys POVAs I saw her flinch slightly, I couldn't help but feel like shit. I was confused as to why she flinched. Did she think I was going to hit her? "Why did you flinch?" I ask her curiously.
She stared at me blankly and her eyes had blinked a few times at a lose of words. "It's just a reflex I guess, I don't know." She spoke calm and collected but her eyes displayed so much more than that.
I just looked at her. Feeling my eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Did you think I was going to hit you?" I asked curiously.
Looking at her now I could tell she was slowly getting more aggravated with the conversation. "Look, You just caught me off guard. What was I suppose to do when you keep putting your hands on me all the time." I look at her as she speaks.
She looked calm. I mean, she wasn't wrong. I had been touchy.
"I apologized for that did I not?" I mumbled quietly. I wasn't one to apologize. She should be accepting my fucking apology, because its the last time she will get one from me.
I saw her eyes get slightly darker in annoyance. "You apologized but that doesn't just make it fucking okay." She groaned, annoyed. Id be lying saying I didn't enjoy getting under her skin.
"Blossom i'm sorry okay? I won't be apologizing for it again." I spoke plainly. Getting my point across.
She huffed and shook her head. "I have places to be. Are we done here?" She asked, trying to be kind about it. Her eyebrows giving her away though. Furrowing in annoyance and no patience.
I just couldn't help the smirk that crept up onto my face. "I was just about to leave. Do you have a car?" I question. I figured she didn't because she was walking.
She turned towards me with crossed arms. "No I don't okay? My uber is probably gone so can I end this conversation please?"
I shook my head disapprovingly, yet I couldn't help the grin that crept up on my face from her not having a car and her aggravation towards me. "Come on Little Blossom." I spoke as I made my way to the passengers door of my car, opening it.
She stared at me blankly with furrowed eyebrows as I looked towards her direction. "What are you doing Harry?" She asked, mumbling the question.
I rolled my eyes getting slightly annoyed with her. She can't ever just listen to me. Im trying to offer her a ride. "Get in." I said plainly, waiting for her to get in the car.
She huffed and her feet finally started moving until she was right in front of me and the open car door. She didn't get in though. She just looked at me. "Why?" She spoke firmly to me.
"Why? Why what?" I was fucking confused by what she was asking about. She looked at me as though I was stupid and I hated it.
"Why are you offering me a ride Harry." She was still so determined to keep her confident tone with me. Id falter that soon.
"Because who rides in a fucking uber?" I look at her face and see the hurt wipe across it. She quickly recovers though and just puts on that sweet face.
"Thanks." She says plainly and quietly. Trying to sound kind still at the same time.
I just nodded and closed the door behind her then got in the drivers side.
When I got in I spotted her hands all over the controls of my car. I couldn't help but get aggravated. I offered her a ride not a fucking vending machine or some shit.
"Could you perhaps stop touching my damn radio and air conditioner?" I speak bluntly. Trying to get my point across.
She immediately snatched her hands towards her body and settled her gaze somewhere outside the window. "Im sorry.. I was just trying to make this more bearable and less awkward for both of us." She spoke so softly. I didn't deserve the softness of her sweet voice.
My breathing slowed as I got calmer. Less aggravated by the sound of the delicate blossom speaking. "Fine. Anyway, Where do you live?" She never even told me where she lives, so i've just been driving aimlessly down the busy streets.
She fidgets with her fingers and keeps her eyes on her hands. "I live in the apartment complex not far from the school." She spoke quietly. I knew id falter her confidence.
"Yes, Because that is very descriptive." I scoff annoyed. I start driving towards the college area and hoping I will see the apartment complex she is speaking of.
As we were driving in the silence I heard the slight ring of a phone. It most definitely was not mine. I turned my head ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of Violet in the passengers seat. She was staring at the screen, yet she wasn't picking it up.
"Don't be shy darling. Answer it." I smirk as I move my gaze back towards the road.
I heard her curse under her breath and snatch her phone up to her ear. "Hey Calum." She spoke so kindly towards the man on the other line.
I couldn't help but look at her quickly. Seeing her eyes light up immediately by whatever words were being spoke through the phone, into that mind of hers.
"Of course. I'll see you later Cal." And with that she took her phone from her ear and turned it off, ending the call.
"Lover boy on the line?" I ask childishly.
She rolled her eyes slightly annoyed. "It's really none of your concern." She spoke firmly, but still in the soft and kind voice of hers.
"No need to get defensive darling." I chuckled at her defensiveness over the subject of her lover boy.
She suddenly pointed to a apartment complex. A very nice one. As I pulled in she undid her seatbelt before we had even parked. "Thats not very safe Blossom." I glance at her, earning a eye roll from her.
"Thats the one." She pointed and I parked. As I went to get out of my car she raised her eyebrows at me. "Why are you getting out?" She questioned me.
I just glanced at her and spoke plainly, "Someone has to make sure you make it up to your apartment." I could tell she was taken back by my words. I have been an asshole to her.
"Oh.." She was so quiet with her words now. She just opened the door and slid out of the car quietly. She seemed as though she was thinking.
As we made our way up to her apartment I saw someone standing outside her door. I could tell she didn't expect to see anyone. So I had to make sure it wasn't some random douchebag. "The hell are you doing here?" I question to the man at the door. He seemed surprised and extremely confused. I didn't know why until Violet spoke up.
"Harry calm down. He is supposed to be here." She spoke with a pleading look in her kind eyes.
I just turned my attention back to him.
"Sorry Vi, I just decided we could go get food with the guys and then talk about the songs and stuff with them." The man said with an Australian accent, That I did not expect to hear. He had a smile though. A smile for Violet. And she had one in returned for him.
She was looking at him like he hung the fucking moon in the sky for her. He can't be that fucking great. Can he?
"Sorry mate, I didn't mean to intrude on you and Vi." He spoke in a friendly manner.
"You weren't interrupting anything. I was just dropping her off because she doesn't have a car. Thats all." I shrugged my shoulders.
Violet looked at me and then turned her gaze away and back to the man. "Yeah, Calum you know your never bothering me." She smiled sweetly at him and he returned it with a toothy grin.
"I'll be going now." I announce and then turn to leave. Im not going to stand here like a fucking fool.
Before I could continue walking a soft hand held my arm. I turned reluctantly and was met the beautiful eyes of the sweet Blossom. "Thank you for the ride Harry. I really appreciate it." She spoke softly. She was extremely kind. Too kind. I just give her a slight nod as she draws her hand back and turns back to Calum, going into her apartment and out of my vision.
So I left. I drove around town, dreading to go home.
