"Aye Ski!?"

"Vro ain't you onna meeting? Pay attention in class" he waves he off and I sigh.

"She ain't even teaching vro lemme ask a question" I whined

"Fine nigga, what do you want?"

"Who's she?" I point to the girl I have pinned to my screen. She's a pretty brown skin girl with a hoodie pulled over her hair so that some of the kinky parts are out. I can't really tell too much of what she looks like, but she's smart and doesn't pay attention. Which is odd because she's usually just on her phone.

I've been put in breakout rooms with her and I really like the way her voice sounds, she's into music and comics and writes poetry and creates OC's for her friend who is an artist.

"Oh her? That's Navier. She's like.....Coolie's cousin or sum shit. Why she pinned to ya screen?" He scrunchs up his nose at me and I push him away.

"Onfroy, why don't you pay attention and join the breakout room?" Ms. Angela says and I quickly join the room. I see Navier and another girl named Nesa talking.

"Yeah honestly I just know I'm good at poetry. I'm not good at anything else." Navier laughs. Her smile is pretty.

"Oh! Hi Jahseh." Nesa says and Navier waves as she drinks a pink-ish liquid from a cup.

"Hey Nesa, Navier."

"Okay Jahseh, since your late and me and Nes already talked about it...what are you good at?"

"Uhhhhh...music, I'm good at making music" I feel myself getting shy all of a sudden. I'm never shy, what the hell?

"Oh cool! My cousin makes music too, he's in a group, called Members Only or something"

"Yeah t- that's my group!" I say before I can think about it. Ski looks at me with wide eyes.

"That's interesting..."

"Your free to come next time we go to the studio." oh god what am I saying?

"I'd love to, I've never been to one before...seems like it'll be fun!"
