A day has passed and I was introduced to my office yesterday, although hindi pa siya talagang tapos gawin. Ang mahalaga naman ay nakakatulog ako nang mahimbing. Sa tanang buhay ko, ngayon lang ako nakahiga sa malambot na kutson. In Fall, I only sleep in the floor. That's why I had a hard time to get up from bed.

A sigh escaped my lips as I exit the comfort room. I faced the mirror and saw myself wearing something extravagant, as if I'm in a dream. It was a black high-waisted pants partnered with a black long-sleeved. There was a small golden crest on the collar and a thin golden ribbon tied around the collar. It was simple and minimal but the texture and the gold accents stood out for me. A pair of black knee-cut boots was also sent as part of the uniform. Everything screamed elegance, and I am not used to it.

Kailangan ko na namang magpanggap, makihalubilo nang hindi ko gusto, at magsalita. If only I could bring back time and not let the soldier, Haden, in my home.

Speaking of him, I wonder if he really was part of the scheme or— hindi niya na rin inasahan ang pangyayari. But it doesn't matter. Hindi ko na rin maiimbestiga ang nangyari dahil narito na ako sa land of Summer. All of Fall is in the past now... I hope.

A knock startled me. Naaligaga ako at biglang inayos ang hitsura ko't... tinago ako dagger na aking nilalaro. This was a dagger forged by my own hands, and a dagger that I could never let go.

Marahan kong binuksan ang pinto at doon ko napansin si Aeryn. She smiled at me and held out some books. Napangiwi naman ako nang mapansin ang kapal ng mga 'yon.

"Good morning, Heidi!" She greeted enthusiastically.

Ngumiti naman ako at bahagyang tumango. "Good morning to you too, Aeryn. What will I be doing for this day?"

She hummed and beckoned her hand to me, so that I could follow her. That was only when I had realized that there was a flying carpet beneath her feet. Hindi mataas ang lipad n'on kaya hindi ko agad napansin. It was colored white and velvety. It had short golden tassels in four sides, and it was again designed by a noble symbol.

"Sakay ka na para hindi na tayo matagalan sa pagpunta sa library," aniya at tumabi pa para bigyan ako ng espasyo sa carpet.

Napataas naman ang isa kong kilay ngunit mabilis ko rin 'yong ibinaba. Library? Ano naman ang gagawin namin d'on? Gusto ko sanang itanong ngunit hindi ko na nais pang sayangin ang laway ko.

Natakot pa akong umapak sa napakaputing carpet kaya't marahan ang pagbagsak ng aking mga paa roon. Napansin naman 'yon ni Aeryn kaya't napatawa siya.

"You're a noble but you're too scared to taint something as mere as this."

I scoffed and my smile turned to a sarcastic one. "Maaaring isa lang 'yang bagay sa'yo o sa'tin, pero sa iba, hindi. I could imagine the hardship of whoever made this."

"Don't worry, Heidi," she answered. "Ako ang gumawa niyan at wala naman akong pakialam kahit dumihan mo 'yan. Not everything can be look as clean as—" She stopped talking so I had to look back at her.

"As?"

Umiling naman siya at nagsimula nang umandar ang magic carpet. Hindi na ako nagtaka nang halos hindi ako gumagalaw. The ride was smooth but fast. Quite shocking, but again, this is a noble's carpet. She must have immense power.

Hindi nagtagal ay nakarating kami sa librerya. Bumaba na siya kaya't bumaba na rin ako. Napatingin ako at napansing ang ilan ay naglalakad, may ilan namang sakay rin sa isang magic vehicle or carpet. Some even rode in their brooms.
