Chapter Ten

A/N hey everyone, sorry i didn't update yesterday, there was family complications lol

MISSY'S EYES LIT up when her sister said that, remembering what Anita had said.

"You know what else we have?" Missy said, turning to the rest of the kids. "What?" Wheels asked. "Teamwork!" Missy replied, and everyone furrowed their eyebrows. "Alone, our powers are special, but... together we're unstopabble." Missy exclaimed, and Cassidy heard a ringing in her ears.

She had to concentrate really hard, but that wasn't easy because everyone was using their powers as well.

"Slow-Mo, attack! A Capella, ear drums!" Missy shouted, and A Capella vocalized, causing the guards to put their hand over their ears. "Rewind, take 'em down!" Missy exclaimed.

"Guppy? Guppy?" Missy started looking for the little girl, where she then found her meditating. "Guppy? Guppy, what are you doing?" Missy asked, and the little girl only kept her eyes closed. "Staying calm." Guppy replied, and Cassidy sighed, drawing her attention away from the other guards.

"Not now! Guppy, listen to me." Missy said, and the little girl opened her eyes.

Suddenly, a guard grabbed Cassidy from behind, but she brought her elbow up, and smashed his nose, causing him to let her fall to the ground and hold his nose. Cassidy hopped up, clapping her hands together, then tilting her head down and throwing it back up - making the man shoot to the wall.

She wiped the blood under her nose, and wiped it on her "I'm a weirdo" shirt.

"Shark frenzy." Missy said, and Guppy stood up with a smile. She quickly put on her sunglasses and growled.

Cassidy glanced at the girl, and ran up to Missy's side with a smile. She and Missy high-fived, and watched as Guppy tore the guards apart.

Everyone stood back like the Moreno twins had shouted in unison.

Cassidy smiled, then looked over at Wheels.

"Noodles, chin up bar." Wheels said, and Cassidy smiled at him. Noodles stretched his arm out, and Wheels took hold of it, hoisting himself up and letting his wheelchair zoomed into the guards, then right back.

"Great job, Wheels." Missy and Cassidy said in unison, earning a smile. They all turned to A Capelle who was vocalizing again, and kicking the lady who was still fighting her. "Go, A Capella!" Missy said.

A Capella - if the lady was human - practically broke the woman's arm for it only to turn into a tentacle.

All of the once down guards stood up with the help of the tentacles, and Cassidy stood in front of the group, her arms out in front of them.

She started to breath heavily, and tilt her head down, determined.

"Inner strength." Rang throughout her ears.

"Kick some alien butt." Wild Card's voice ran through her ears, and she felt even more determind.

Everyone stood behind her, and Missy glanced at her sister who hadn't done anything yet.

"Cass, do something!" Missy exclaimed, but Cassidy held up a finger, indicating for her to wait. "Not yet.." She mumbled, and watched as they came closer.

When a tentacle slithered on the floor and over to the children, she stuck both of her hands out quickly, a scream escaping her lips as the man with black hair was brought off of the ground and into the air. Blood ran down both of her nostrils, and black veins could be seen underneath her eyes - her eyes also becoming blood shot.
