When lunch rolled around I took my time walking to the cafeteria. In my class before lunch I ran into a boy named Ray, he had rushed to lunch as quickly as he could though.

I yawned softly as I turned into the lunchroom, my tired eyes felt heavy.
I just wanted to curl up in bed and sleep forever.

"JANE!" A British voice chirped from across the room. I looked up from the floor and saw the Brit waving his arms frantically, with Michael seated next to him waving as well.

I smiled slightly to myself and walked over to their table. "Hey guys." I said my smile now faded. It was hard look so happy when I felt like passing out.
"You feeling alright?" Gavin said frowning. "You look tired."

I smiled faintly. "Thank you." I said poking fun at his 'you look tired' comment. "And yea I feel fine just sleepy."

"You could skip next class." Michael suggested.

"Don't you dare skip class on the first day young lady." Geoffs voice mad me jump. He took a seat next to Gavin.
I finally sat down next to Michael. "Why didn't you sleep last night?" He said looking at me with worried eyes. He looked exhausted himself.

I replied with a shrug. "I couldn't." I knew why I couldn't, anxiety, and insomnia. I was trapped in a new foreign place with people that haven't yet earned my trust. I was pulled from where I felt comfortable for once and forced into this new place. I felt homesick for a place that was never truly my home.

It was weird.

But I wouldn't say that.

"It sounds like you should get some more sleep." A new voice emerged. They had a deep voice. I looked away from Geoff and saw a man with red hair, he was a little thicker than the rest of the boys. "I'm jack, and you are?" He had a friendly smile and warm eyes.

"I'm Jane." As soon as I finished talking a soft yawn escaped my lips again.

Ray came over with someone else, and sat down next to me. The taller blonde man next to him took the last seat. He then looked at me with his piercing blues eyes and smiled faintly. "Hey, I'm Ryan."

"Jane." I felt shy around all of these people, and it didn't help that they were pretty cute..
