Luke's POV

If I could describe to you how bored I am right now I would. But I can't.
Let me tell you, never put yourself in hospital it's the most boring place, especially when you've just had major surgery and can hardly move.

It was times like these I was glad I had Anne's number.

"Luke! You're awake"
"Yep not to good but awake"
"Oh sweetheart is there anything I could do?"
"Would you be able to come visit me? I have no one else to see me"
"Be there soon"

With that I hung up and waited patiently- no I'm kidding- impatiently for Anne to arrive. When the nurse walked in with someone behind her I was relieved. Except it would've been better if Ashton was with her.

"Hi Anne thanks for coming to visit me"
"It's ok sweetie. What about your parents?"
"U-uh I'd rather not talk about them. How's Ashton?"
"Not to good. He's in hospita-"
"The doctor told me"
"Oh well then he's not doing well at all. He hasn't woken up yet. It's been nearly 48 hours but it seems like a lifetime"
"Mmm I really what to see him but I'm not allowed to walk yet"
"Why? Oh my god I was meant to ask you, what injuries did you get?"
"Just a bump to the head"
"Why aren't you allowed to walk then?"
"I also only have one leg"
"Oh Luke I'm sorry"
"It's ok I'll live"
"Well yeah but, how long till you can walk?"
"Well I'm not allowed to walk for probably a week. Not sure why but whatever, but they are putting me in a wheelchair tomorrow and the really nice nurse who brought you in takes me around the hospital. I was actually hoping to see Ash"
"Well I really hope everything works out perfectly. And I hope you can see him. I have to go home to Lauren and Harry but is there anything I can bring you?"
"Well I actually left my laptop at your place when I stayed with Ash so the next time you come in could you maybe bring it?"
"Sure. I'll see you tomorrow. Take care" she kissed my forehead and walked out.

I was really busting to get in the wheel chair. I just wanted to see Ashton.

When I decided that I'd been sitting here staring at a wall for to long I pulled out a piece of paper and a pen that was next to my bed and started to write some random lyrics.

With in a minute I was all packed up, I've got a ticket to another wold, I do t wanna go, I don't wanna go. Sudden words are hard to speak, when your thoughts are all I see, don't ever leave, he said to me.

When we both fall asleep underneath the same sky, to the beats of our hearts at the same time, so close but so far away.
He sleeps alone, my heart wants to come home, I wish I was, I wish I was beside you.
He lies awake, I'm trying to find the words to say I wish I was, beside you.
(I changed 'she' to 'he', fight me)

I wrote the first verse and the chorus and hummed it to myself, when my nurse walked in with dinner.

"Hi Luke how are you feeling?"
"Physically or mentally?"
"Both I guess" she chuckled.
"Done"
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"I'm just sick of life at the moment I guess. Once I'm out of here I have nowhere to go"
"What do you mean you have nowhere to go?"
"Uh-um nothing I'm just being dramatic"

I've been in hospital for three days and it hasn't gotten any better.
I went and saw Ashton 2 days ago, he's still not awake.
