The three boys and their father were preparing for dinner. Of course it was something to do with potatoes, but only Techno knew exactly what delicacy it would be because he was cooking tonight.
Wilbur was sitting in the living room, strumming his guitar as he scanned over his pages full of lyrics and ideas. Trying to sing them together and see which lines fit best to create a song with.
Tommy was outside in the front yard by the creek playing with his best friend and cousin, Tubbo. The bee boy was going to be having dinner with the Minecraft family tonight.
And Philza, well he was setting up the dinner table. Chatting with the pig hybrid in the kitchen while he cooked the supper for tonight. Mr. Minecraft, like the other boys, didn't know what was for dinner. But, he was happy to help set up the table as the smells from the steaming pot drifted into the air.
Philza POV:
I went over and grasped the handle of a cupboard. Opening it and grabbing a handful of napkins to refill the dispenser, resting them in my palm. Shuffling past Techno, I collected a few more items, such as cups, spoons and bowls. The closet hint I knew for what was for dinner was soup.
As the pig hybrid was brewing something in a pot, and that's a common food for potatoes to be used for. I walked over to our dinning table, laying everything down on top of the polished wood.
I started to set everything out for the five people, including me. Humming as I set the last cup in its place. I looked over out the window, watching the two minors splashing in the water. Hopefully their clothes wouldn't be too wet when they came inside.
Techno tilted his head over his shoulder, talking to me while stirring the soup. "Dinner is just about ready if you want to get everyone inside."
I nodded my head, twisting around and heading towards the living room. As I entered I saw Wilbur, my second oldest kid, staring intently at the scattered sheets of paper and the strings of the guitar.
"Wilbur?" I questioned, but as I guessed, he didn't hear me, to focused on his music. I chuckled and walked over to him, bending down and tapping on his shoulder. "Wilbur?" I repeated.
He jumped and spun around, realizing me he relaxed and laughed. "Sorry! Just got a bit to focused on the lyrics."
"That's alright, but dinner is about ready so I suggest cleaning up."
"Oh alright!" He spun back around, picking up all his papers and moving them into a pile. I left him to get ready as I opened the front door.
Walking down the stone path in our front yard, I got enough in hearing range by the creek where I didn't need to shout. "Boys! Dinners about ready so come inside and get ready!"
They both turned to me, responding in unison,"Okay!". Tommy was on the opposite side of the creek and he tried to jump back to the other side to start heading back to the house.
Though unfortunately, he landed on some damp grass and slipped. "SHI-" He yelled as he fell backwards into the creek, splashing water all over him.
Tubbo covered a hand over his mouth giggling as I tried to hold in a laugh. "HEY! It's not funny!" Tommy huffed, crossing his arms over his chest pouting.
