Just then, Preeta's doorbell rings, and she goes to open it. When she opens it, she looks at the person in shock.
Preeta: (shocked) Tum?
The person at her door was revealed to be Ronnie.
Preeta: (shocked) Tum yaha kya kar rhe ho? Mere ghar pe kyu aaye ho?
Ronnie: Preeta, mujhe tumse bohot zaruri baat karni hai
Preeta: Dekho Ronnie mujhe tumse koi baat nhi karni hai! Just get lost!
Ronnie: Preeta I know maine tumhare saath bohot galat kiya lekin please, ek baar meri baat sunlo..
Ronnie starts walking towards Preeta and she backs away in fear and panic, memories of the time he molested her haunting her
Preeta: (panicking) Get away from me!
Preeta pushes him backwards and she turns to leave inside the house.
Ronnie: Preeta this is about Karan!
Preeta stops, her back still facing Ronnie. Ronnie sighs and continues
Ronnie: He still loves you!
Preeta doesn't turn around, looking away sadly
Ronnie: (sadly) He always loved you..
Preeta: (not looking) Then why did he break up with me?
Ronnie: (sighs) Because of Raina..
Preeta slowly turns around and Ronnie tells Preeta everything his sister had told him. How she had blackmailed Karan, gotten intimate pictures of the two, and forced Karan to break all relations with Preeta forever. Preeta looks on tearfully
Preeta: Why should I trust you? You could be lying to me
Ronnie: (sadly) Because Preeta you know, deep down, that Karan still loves you. You've seen that love in his eyes!
Preeta looks down tearfully
Ronnie: Preeta dekho, I can't tell you what to do. All I know is that I regret how I've behaved with you and your friends in the past and I just want to make it better. Mujhe toh khud pe hi ghin aata hai jab mai uss raat ko yaad karta hoon
Preeta looks at him hurt, remembering that day.
Ronnie: Karan really loves you Preeta and if you trust him and his love, then you should go and talk to him
Preeta looks up at Ronnie tearfully, then looks down remembering Karan. Ronnie sighs seeing her and starts to walk away when Preeta says..
Preeta: Thanks Ronnie
Ronnie turns around hearing her, slightly relieved that she trusted him
Ronnie: You're welcome
Preeta grabs her keys and purse and locks her door.
Preeta: Mai Karan ke paas jaa rhi hoon
Ronnie looks at her relieved as she walks away
Ronnie: And Preeta?
Preeta stops and turns around
Ronnie: (guiltily) I'm really sorry
Preeta looks at him warily. She doesn't say anything but just gives him a small smile and walks away.
