Betrayal

It was another beautiful day in the city of Mumbai. The college students were excited for the upcoming Battle of the Performing Arts. The contestants had been preparing for months and the crew had been organizing this function for a whole year. Mrs. Sharma's music company had just hired two guest star judges for the competition, and Ansh was going to keep it a secret from Khushi and Shrishti.

Shrishmeer were now happier than ever together, they were inseparable, much to Raina's distaste. But she still had her eyes set on her unrequited love, Karan Luthra, and she was determined to earn his affection.

One day Raina was walking from class in the college corridors when Karan grabbed her hand and pinned her to the wall angrily. She smirks seeing him.

Raina: (smirks) Kya baat hai Baby, aaj tumhara mood kuch jyaada hi romantic hai. Preeta ke saath break up kiya?

Karan: (angrily) Raina bohot hogaya tumhara natak! Chup chap mujhe woh envelope dedo warna tumhe chodunga nhi mai!

Raina: (sensually) Haye Karan Luthra, yehi toh mai chahti hoon... ki tum mujhe chodo nhi

Karan: (angrily) Raina-

Raina angrily puts her finger on his lips, shushing him. She looks at him sternly.

Raina: Break up kiya, ya nhi?

Karan sighs and nods no as Raina angrily clutches his collar.

Raina: Agar aaj ke din mai tumne usse break up nhi kiya toh kal subah tumhara woh envelope college ke saare logon ke haath mai hogi

Just then the screen switches to Preeta who was walking with Divya. She sees Karan's backpack, but doesn't see that he had pinned Raina to the wall.

Preeta: Arre Divs, woh dekho Karan! Chal!

The two approach Karan and Raina, who were glaring each other. As Preeta got closer to them, she saw Raina was pinned to the wall by Karan. Her brow furrows in confusion. Raina sees Preeta over Karan's shoulder. Smirking, she wraps her arms around Karan tightly, hugging him.

Preeta stops in her tracks seeing the two hugging. Divya too looks at them in confusion. Divya sees Preeta a little worried and she smiles at her reassuringly.

Divya: I'm sure woh Karan bhai nhi hai

Preeta marches up to the pair and grabs Karan's shoulder, turning him around. As Divya and Preeta see Karan's face their faces morph into expressions of shock. Karan shockingly looks at the two. Raina smirks seeing the scene. Preeta looks from Karan to Raina.

Preeta: Kya chal rha hai yaha?

Raina: Oh Preeta! Tumhe dikh nhi rha? Obviously two young lovers are trying to spend some alone time with each other

Divya: (angrily) What the hell are you saying, Raina? Soch samajhke bolo!

Raina: Soch samajhke hi bol rhi hoon Divya! Or should I say, sister-in-law?

Divya glares Raina who was smirking at them.

Raina: Preeta, tumhe sharam nhi aati? Ek couple ki private time ko disturb kar rhi ho? How characterless of you! Come Karan baby, let's find another quiet classroom where no one will disturb us

Raina holds Karan's hand and starts to pull him when Preeta holds his other hand, he looks at Preeta with no expression.

Preeta: Karan tum kaha jaa rhe ho? Aur itne chup kyu ho? Bolo naa Karan, ki ye ladki jhut bol rhi hai!
