Hi all!! As promised, these are some scenes that I had previously drafted and wanted to include for the rest of the story, but it obviously didn't happen. So, I'm just posting a compilation of these shorts for you all to enjoy!! Think of this like a teaser, all scenes are chronological, but there was supposed to be actual chapters in between them to fill up the time. Hope you enjoy!

Short 1:
Shrishti's House
Shrishti was in her room doing homework when she saw a car park outside her house through her window. She looked at the car curiously and recognized who it belonged to.
Shrishti: (thinking) Yeh toh Sammy ki gaadi hai... Sameer yaha kya kar rha hai, woh bhi aunty aur uncle ke saath.
She quickly gets up and changes into more presentable clothes as she was just wearing pajamas and heads downstairs to meet her mom in the kitchen. Her mom was making tea with a smile on her face.
Shrishti: Mumma, yeh Sammy aur uske parents kyu aaye hue hai?
Meenakshi: Arre humse milne aaye hai pagli
Shrishti: Obviously naa mom, log milne ke liye hi ghar pe aate hai. Lekin aaj aise achanak kaise aana hua unka?
Meenakshi: (pulls her cheeks) Woh toh tujhe jaldi pata chal jaayega
Shrishti looks on in confusion as Meenakshi gives her a tray with tea cups and snacks
Meenakshi: Yeh zara Sameer aur uske maa baap ko de naa
Shrishti nods and goes to the living room where she finds her dad seated with Sameer and his parents, all talking happily. They see Shrishti and exclaim in happiness. Sameer smiles seeing her as she smiles back
Vikshara: Lo, aagayi humari heroine!
Shrishti: (smiles) Hi aunty, hi uncle!
Shrishti gives them both a cup of tea and then gives to her dad. She gives tea to Sameer as well as he whispers to her
Sameer: Mujhe hi nhi bologi?
Shrishti: (rolls her eyes) Bye Sameer..
Shrishti goes to sit opposite to Sameer when her mom comes and stops her
Meenakshi: Arre arre! Kaha jaa rhi hai? Baith naa apne Sameer ke paas
She makes Shrishti sit next to Sameer as they all giggle and start talking about random things
Shrishti: (to Sameer) Yeh sab ho kya rha hai ?? Sab itne ajeeb behave kyu kar rhe hai?
Sameer: (laughs) Tumhare hi sangat ka asar hoga
Shrishti glares at him as he silently laughs
Sameer: (laughig) Achha achha I'm sorry baba. Waise tumhe sachme nhi pata ki yaha kya ho rha hai?
Shrishti nods no as he smirks at her
Sameer: (smirks) Jaldi pata chal jaayega
Shrishti: (makes a crybaby face) Yeh bhi??
Shrishti looks at the parents who were happily talking together and then looks at Sameer who was sipping tea with a smirk on his face. She looks at them all irritated
Shrishti: (irritatedly) Arre koi mujhe batayega ki yaha ho kya rha hai??
All look at her surprised but also smiling slightly
Vikshara: (laughing silently) Tujhme sachme nhi pata ki hum yaha kyu aaye hai?
Shrishti nods no confused
