Stella's pov

8:40 am, oh my God I'm so tired! It's the first day back at school after winter break today and it's been tough waking up.

What makes it worse is that I'm now stuck out in the cold waiting for Jordan, Chris and Destiny to show up. We go to school together every day so each morning we wait for each other at a tree stump outside of our school.

I tend to always be the first one there somehow, so I'm naturally always waiting out in the cold. They're my best friends though, for years now. We've always been a little group together.

While I wait for them, I may as well introduce you to us. I'm Stella, the one who keeps everyone in check. If it wasn't for me they'd be a bunch of lunatics running around Scotland.

Then there's Destiny, who's similar to me in the way that she also keeps everyone in check. She's the comedian of the group but a loud mouth, she doesn't realise it but she does blurt out our secrets now and again, that's why I've stopped telling her mine when we're around people.

Chris is the crackhead, not literally, although at times I question if he does it or not. He's always doing something stupid in the wrong situations. But that makes Chris, Chris. I suppose?

And finally, Jordan. We love her but so does every boy she lays an eye on. She's the popular one and changes her mind about what guy she wants each week. She's funny and kind, when you're on her good side. She is mean to everyone other than us three, although most of the time not even Chris is safe.

She never use to be like that though, last summer she changed. She use to be kind to everybody. But there was someone who changed that for her. I'm not his biggest fan anymore.

But that's our group! I got zoned out just thinking about someone, I didn't even notice Destiny behind me. "Stella, Stella. STELLA!" She screamed.

"Jeez Destiny, you gave me a heart attack." I jumped at her loud tone. "You thinking about a certain someone?" She asks in a sarcastic amusing way.

"No." I lied, she crossed her arms. "Mhm, sure." I rolled my eyes at her. "You think there'll be any drama today?" She asked, luckily changing the subject.

"Probably, I wonder who Jordan will fight today." I reply. "When did I say Jordan?" She asks confused. "You didn't, but she's the one who's always starting the drama so it's a solid guess." I answered.

She just laughed. As I said, Jordan's the spunky one of the group. She loves drama and always starts it by, most of the time, beating some poor innocent soul.

"I think she's gonna fight Layla." I hear a high pitch voice coming behind me. I turn around to see Chris. "When did you get here?" I asked him.

He crossed his arms and adjusted his position, he seems annoyed. "Well, Stella." He started. "I've been here since half past eight andI was hiding in that bush to try and scare you but you chucked your Tesco bag in there and I got stuck."

All I heard was Destiny burst out laughing. "How do you get stuck from a Tesco bag?" I asked him. "Well it landed on my face and then it got caught in the branches when I tried to take it off so I got caught in the branches and it was just a disaster okay!" He tells me.

"Hey guys!" We hear Jordan come over to us. "Finally we're all here let's go!" Destiny says, eager to get out of the cold. "Wait!" I stopped everyone.

"Why'd you need it?" Destiny asks me, while Jordan stands there confused on what we're talking about. I don't want to tell them.

"Nothing, never mind." I told them before walking inside.
