017. Wing Man

(this one's a long one so be ready)

"Well, there's something I need to tell you all." We all got closer to Chris, hoping that he'd say the thing that we were all thinking off. Tayler was straight up in his face, Chris was a little bit uncomfortable with how close he was and he just pushed him away. "Well? Are you going to tell us?" I asked and he looked at me and crossed his arms. "No!" He said in a sassy way making us all laugh. Jordan grabbed his drink and threatened to pour it over his head unless he told us. "That's a little bit violent." Destiny said pulling Jordan back down to her seat. "Chris! I'm not joking! I will do it!" She threatened him again and he gulped in fear. "Ok, ok i'll tell you all but you can't tell anyone." He said and we all nodded and he finally took a deep breath and told us. "I have a tiny crush on her." He admitted and immediately turned red. We all let out a 'aw' and he just told us to shut up. Penelope left and Parker stood up. "You like Penelope?" He said pretty loud, and Jordan hit him. "Don't say it that loud!" Parker looked around. "We don't even know anyone here- oh, oh no, sorry Chris." He said and sat back down, we all looked over at where he was looking and oh no. Poor Chris. We saw Eden and Layla. "Oop." Destiny said while taking a sip of her drink. "Parker! You idiot!" Josh said and he was quick to say sorry to all of us when we all repeated what Josh said. Chris looked at them and just waved and they laughed, he turned back to us at disappointment. "I'm never saying anything in front you again Parker!" He snapped in his little sassy voice which was hilarious. "They're probably going to tell the whole school knowing them." I said and everyone agreed except from Ryder. "What? Eden and Layla? Gossip? Never." He said sarcastically and we all laughed. "I say we head out of here." Jordan said standing up. "I say Chris changed schools, changes his name, where he lives and everything." Ryder said being sarcastic again. We got up and went outside. Destiny still had her drink with her though. We started walking towards the shop that was beside Starbucks when Destiny tripped and Tayler caught her, luckily or she would've smashed her head open. But, her drink went flying and bounced off of Parker's head before landing on top of him when he fell, covering him in it. He spent the rest of the day covered in a caramel frap. 

It's the next day now and we're all walking into school and immediately Chris gets weird looks from all of Penelope's friends and basically her whole year group. We all were confused at first because they were looking at us while talking, indicating that they were talking about us or Chris. Until we went inside and it hit us. We saw Eden and Layla and we knew that they told everyone. Chris started looking scared and his eyes became watery. "I'll deal with them." Jordan said, noticing that Chris was upset by the thought that they told everyone and that everyone knew that he had a crush on Penelope. "I'll come as well!" Josh said, walking really slow as his leg was still in a cast over to her. We all tried comforting Chris and we think that it worked? I don't know though. We could see Jordan and Josh getting fired up talking to Eden and Layla, I mean no wonder. I can't imagine if they found out who I have a crush on and told everyone, i'd be so embarrassed so i'm guessing that's how Chris feels right now. Josh and Jordan came back over to us and they both had pure anger in their eyes. "That'll hopefully put them in line." Jordan said crossing her arms and Josh copied but he looked really stupid. "Guys!" Ryder said and he pointed down the corridor, we all looked and saw Penelope. Chris's eyes widened at the sight of seeing her walking towards us, staring at him in the eyes. He froze completely. She approached us and smiled. "Hola Nino's." She said and Chris snapped out of his thought and looked at her. "Uh.... um.. hi." He stuttered and she just said hi again. "Chris." She said and we all turned out attention to him. "Why is everyone giving me a weird look?" She asked and also mentioned that it was something to do with him. "Um.. um.. uh... I.. I.. I don't know." He stuttered even more, staring into her eyes. "Chris, come with me for a second, you have a bug in your hair i'll get it off." Tayler said grabbing his arm and dragging him into one of the cupboards. 

Tayler's POV:

"Get it off!" Chris yelped at me, freaking out. I don't think that he could tell that he could tell that I used that as an excuse to get him away. "Chris! There's no bug on you!" I tried calming him down and he looked at me and put a cross look on his face. "Why'd you lie?" He asked and I huffed at him. "Because I need to talk to you!" I said and he took a minute to understand and then he realized. "Ooohhh." He said and I mocked him. "What is it?" He asked and basically gave me a look to hurry up. We had three minutes until the bell rang so I had to be quick. "You need to man up out there!" I hit his shoulder playfully but he had to be the dramatic little fat coo that he is and act like it hurt. "Ouch!" I rolled my eyes at him and continued my sentence. "She's going to think somethings up if you just keep acting weird out there!" He looked upset at my words but I needed to tell him the truth and sometimes the truth hurts! "Well i'm sorry! I'm just nervous and embarrassed." He turned red and looked down. I pulled him into a hug and he quickly jamp away. Sorry for trying to be nice. "Look," I started my pep talk. "I was when everyone found out that I liked Destiny, but I didn't know that she felt the same way and when she told me that she did, I was so happy and I asked her out and now i'm dating the girl of my dreams!" I said and he looked really inspired, I was so proud of myself. "But what if she doesn't feel the same way?" He asked and I tried my best to think of a nice wording. "I bet she does." I just left it there because I didn't want to say my actual thought which was that she probably didn't. He smiled and looked really happy. "Should I ask her out?" He asked and I thought immediately, no. So I decided to try and stop him in the nicest way possible so he didn't get offended. "Maybe, just try and flirt with her and that'll show if she feels the same way or not and then ask her out." I said and he understood and agreed to do it and then I had a great idea. "I'll be your wing man!" I said and he started clapping and saying yes over and over again. The bell rang and me and Chris walked to the door. "Thanks for the advice Tay Tay." He said and hugged me, God that was an ugly nickname but I didn't say anything and instead just hugged him back. We went into class and sat down at our seats. "What took you guys so long?" Stella asked and I told her that I gave Chris a pep talk and that i'm his wing man now. "Ew." I heard Jordan mumble but I heard it and looked at her with a confused look and she looked at me and smiled. "That's so cute Tayler." Destiny said and leaned over the table to hug me and I hugged her back. "Just like you." I said and I felt her smile. "I love you Tay Tay." She said, oh so she calls me that too. It's only ugly when Chris calls me it. "I love you more." I said and I heard Jordan and Josh fake gag and the rest just saying ew. We let go and got back to work, the rest of the morning was boring but I was so excited to be Chris's wing man. I though it'd be fun, I was wrong.
