Fred and George stood outside the portrait hole, chatting. When they saw me approaching, they called out in greeting, "Good evening". I waved, "Hi boys". Fred smiled and guided me by the small of my back towards the portrait hole, which swung open as George said, "Whistledown". A cheery sight greeted me as we walked in. The Gryffindor common room was regal, with large tapestries covering the walls and plush armchairs filling the room.

"Sawyer!", called Hermione from beside the fireplace. I waved, "I'll be right back", I said to Fred and George. "What are you doing here?", she said, "Are you allowed?". I shrugged, "I'm not sure, but I promised that I would help the twins with Charms". Hermione nodded, "Well as long as it's for something productive". I looked over and saw Ron and Harry sitting next to her, "Hello". The pair waved back. "Oi! Foster!", one of the twins yelled. "Duty calls", I shrugged.

The pair of twins started towards a spiral staircase. "Oh", I began, "Are we going up to the dormitory?". For some reason, a blush crept up my face. It just felt so...intimate to be in someone's bedroom. "More private", Fred said, close to my ear. Goosebumps rose on my arms and I involuntarily shuddered. "Okay", I choked out.

When we reached the 6th year boy dormitory, I cautiously entered. It looked different from the Ravenclaw dormitory. The beds were four poster, and had large curtains that drew around them. "Okay", George said, plopping down on his bed. Fred did the same on the neighboring bed. I looked around uncomfortably for a moment. Fred noticed and summoned a chair, which I sat in. George began to speak and I mouthed his twin a thank you. He winked.

"So, little one", George said loudly, "Have you ever heard of Weasley Wizard Wheezes". My eyebrows rose and I let out a slight laugh, "I have not". "Yet", Fred said, shifting forward, "We have an idea". George cut him off, "An incredible idea". "And what do I have to do with this?", I said, my eyes narrowing. "You're the most brilliant student in Charms at Hogwarts", Fred said with a glint in his eyes, "We have been working on a line of prank candies, but we can't seem to charm them quite right".

It suddenly made sense. "And you want me to do it", I said flatly. "I mean... If your offering", Fred smiled mischievously. "It's against the rules", I let out, "So I won't do it". George opened his mouth but I didn't let him talk, "However, I will tutor you in Charms. What you do with your knowledge isn't up to me". Fred and George looked at each other for a moment, then back and me, "Alright". I smiled and stood, pulling out my wand, "Where should we start?".

The library buzzed with students preparing for the first major exam of the year. It was the end of September, and excitement was growing and the days ticked away. The arrival of the students from the other schools for the Triwizard Tournament was all anyone seemed to be able to talk about. Roger chewed on an apple, staring out the window. "What are you thinking about so intensely", Hazel said, not looking up from her sketchbook. "I think I might enter the tournament", he let out slowly. My eyes snapped up towards him.

"Are you serious?", I let out, concerned. He shrugged, "Why not. I turn 17 next week". I raised my eyebrow, running my ponytail through my fingers. Maybe I was a coward, but something felt off about this whole tournament. I couldn't help but feel as if it wouldn't end well. "I think that's an excellent idea", grinned Hazel, "Might help you get a girlfriend too". Roger shot her a look that could kill. "Or you and Sawyer could just date", she smirked. It was my turn to glare at her.

Ever since our first year Hazel enjoyed teasing the pair of us, who had never had a boyfriend or girlfriend while at Hogwarts. I hadn't even had my first kiss if I was being honest. It was all in good fun though because although we loved each other, it was in the most platonic way possible. "Yes", I let out dryly, "I've been meaning to tell you Roger, I am deeply in love with you".

"Well that's news to me!", a bright voice called from behind me. It was either Fred or George, I couldn't tell from across the library. As he got closer, I realized it was Fred. Madam Pince shushed him and he just waved cheekily at her. "Ready for our session?", Fred said once he reached me. I nodded and stood, "I'll see you guys later". Hazel waved, her eyes still not moving from the owl she was sketching.

Every Thursday night I had been going to the Gryffindor common room and helping the twins practice their spells. It was nice to see Hermione too, and often I studied with her while they practiced. We made our way from the library towards their common room. Fred wasn't wearing his uniform like I was, he sported a black v-neck and jeans, converse on his feet. I straightened my tie and made sure my bookbag didn't fall.

"So what's this about you being madly in love with Roger Davis?", Fred teased. I laughed, "Just an inside joke". He smiled to himself and we walked in silence for a moment. I was about to say something when someone called my name. I looked around, spotting Cedric across the hall with a group of Hufflepuffs. "Hi, Cedric", I smiled as we passed. "See you in class", he grinned.

Fred's eyebrows raised, "You're friends with pretty boy?". I laughed at the nickname. "Not really", I shrugged, "We have class together but that's about it". He shoved me jokingly, "Look who's little miss popular now". I snorted and shook my head. "Oh please, Fred", I laughed, "Everyone in the castle knows who you and George are, you didn't even know me until like a month ago".

Fred flushed slightly, "That's not true. I've always thought you were very attractive". I sputtered, "I mean..uh.. Thanks". Fred was now in a fit of laughter. "Just take the compliment, love", he winked, saying the password. My eyes were wide and I tried to collect myself, but if I was being completely honest, I had never wanted to blush and giggle so much in my life.
