3rd Person POV

The Ruinid carriage rattled as it winded through the trees, heading towards the Kingdom of Camelot. The king and queen looked at their children sat infant of them. They have yet to say a word. They both knew that neither of the magically twins wanted to go to Camelot. Aeryn had a 'tiny' tantrum that TOTALLY didn't break all of the windows in the castle. Merlin certainly didn't want to be there as well. He was suffering. He had given up on looking for his propose. The Once And Future King was suppose to be his other half. The opposite side of the same coin. He didn't want to go to a kingdom where they terminate magic while he was suffering the lost of a future where magic won't be something to fear.

The inside of the carriage was filled with an uncomfortable silence. Merlin looked outside. The forest seemed so green and full of life. Sometimes, he saw a family of birds, nestled against on each other. Then, he'd see a deer, just walking around and it filled him with a sense of joy. he was magic incarnate so he could feel every speck of magic in the air. And Camelot's air was full of it. It seemed like every living thing was radiating the thing that kept him alive for.

Before coming here, Merlin was scared of Camelot. He thought that unlike Ruinid, Camelot's air would have no magic in it. He was scared because he needed that magic to like. Ruinid is a magical kingdom, so that air was always full of it. Merlin never had to worry about running out of 'air magic' . In addition to breathing in the 'air magic', he needed to DO magic. If he didn't, he would get ill, or faint. That sort of thing. And that brings back as to why he was scared of Camelot. A normal person would have thought that Camelot had no magic. In that case, Merlin would have no 'air magic' and he couldn't do magic in CAMELOT of all places. So, he didn't see why he needed to come. His father had insisted, saying it would be fine and that Uther also has a daughter so why not get 2-in-1.

Merlin relaxed as soon as he was a few yards in Camelot and he didn't die. He may not be able to do a lot of magic but at least, he could breathe.

"We're here," Announced his father. This is it. They were here. They were in the place were they grew up fearing. Trembling at a single mention. They were in the very same place where they could be killed by simply existing. Killed being seen as a threat.

The carriage passed through the gate of the city walls. The carriage navigated along the road and into what seemed to be a market place. Stalls and shops that looked almost identical as the ones back home. The one discernible difference was that there were no magic street performers, doing magic for the young children. No magic of any kind. It was kind of strange. Usually, magic would flood the street of Ruinid. He should have expected this of course since magic users are executed on sight with even a simple levitation spell.

They continued down the road, towards the citadel. Beside the gates, two Pendragon banners hung either side. A solid crimson colour with a large gold dragon. Merlin stared in wonder. Even though he was absolutely terrified of this kingdom, he always had a soft spot for dragons. They entered the citadel. A few more seconds, not even minutes, they would meet they people who purged their people. Induced fear in every magic user. The carriage stopped moving.

"Now remember, theses guys aren't the best people when it comes to magic so don't force it on them," Warned Balinor. He stepped out while holding his wife's hand. Merlin looked away from the door. He can't be here. He was ABLE to be here but he can't. It has been a few months but he was still sulking.
