Chapter 7: Bad Memories

~Author's Note~ This chapter took forever to write because my sister threw a giant ass chuck of ice at my hand and I think she broke something but simce I love guys so much I decided to write anyways!!! I was feeling like writing something mushy so that end of the chapter is cute <3 I'm thinking about making a little Christmas chapter next because there's 3 days til Christmas!! So be prepared for lots of mistletoe...actually I don't know if I'm going to do it or not but I'm kinda trying to make it not too much like the TV series from now on because too many spoilers...well I hope you guys like it and vote, comment (I don't really care about comments but i like them at the same time!), fan, be random! 

(Adriana POV)

Stefan had lectured me for what seemed like hours, Katherine just hugged me and laid her head on my shoulder. After a while Stefan finally shut up and we all stand in silence, until we saw Elijah standing in the tomb. "Elijah? Why did you come in here you can't get out?" I asked standing up. 

"You can now I lifted the spell." 

Katherine leapt up and run to the entrance but Elijah stopped her and started to compell her. I ran forward pushing her out of the way. "Run Kat!"

"You can not leave this cave." Elijah said looking into my eyes, I could only nod and collapse to the ground. Elijah grabbed Katherine's arm before she could get away and did the same thing to her, letting Stefan walk right by him. "My part of the deal was only to allow Stefan to leave and now when Klaus comes, he'll know where to find you." He walked away smoothly and Katherine looked up at Stefan with big eyes. 

"You can't ket him do this Stefan. Please at least get Adriana out, she shouldn't be in here." Katherine pleaded but Stefan just looked away and walked off. "Damn it!" She hissed and dropped to the ground beside me. "I'm so sorry Adriana."

"It's okay. We're both still together so it makes everything okay." I said hugging her, she nodded and hugged me back. We sat in silence not knowing what else to do. I thought about Damon and what he would do when he heard the news that I couldn't get out of the cave until Elijah told me I could. I sighed trying to hold back tears, he probably was too worried about Rose's bite to care about me. He probably hated me, damn emotions sucked. 

"So why did you come into the tomb in the first place?"

I sighed, almost knowing tis was going to come up. "I realized that you were all I really had and that everything else was a fucked up fantasy. I forgot that and I'm so sorry." I could barely say it, my voice a hushed whisper. 

"So it was Damon?" She asked. I laughed a little and nodded. Of course she figure it out, she knew me better than anyone. "What exactly happened?"

"It's a long story."

She laughed a little humorless laugh, "I think we have plenty of time." Sighing I told her everything. About Damon, about Rose, about Elena and Elijah. She only talked when she would ask  question but the rest of the time she remained silent thinking about everything. "Did you tell Damon she was going to die?"

"I mentioned it before I left but I think he'll realize it sooner or later." Then I heard the tomb door swing open and Elijah walked in. 

"Hello Ladies."

"Elijah." I hissed and stood up. 

"Which one of you is Katherine and which is Adriana?" He asked looking between us. 

"I'm Katherine." I said taking a step forward, knowing that Elena had sent him to get me out of here. 

"Oh Adriana, always protecting your twin. You haven't changed a bit, always trying to find a way to let her life even if it means that you die in the process."
