Chapter 3 (rewritten)

3rd person's POV

'Why is she even here?' Jennie thought to herself, now wanting to go home even more.

"What do you want? To steal someone else away from me?" Jennie said lifting her head.

"If this is about Kai then, I did not still him from you." rosé said, disgusted by the thought of that jerk, Kai.

Jennie rolled her eyes, gathered her things, and moved to another seat by her classmate soojin.

"You look mad-" soojin tried to say but was cut off.

"That's because I am." Jennie side eyed rosé but she was found with a smiling rosé instead.

Jennie turned back around rolling her eyes and pulling out her notebook. Soojin was still confused and didn't want to make Jennie more angry so, she just shrugged and continued to text someone.

*lunch time*

Jennie sat down at a table that her friends were currently at. Jennie sat down harshly, shaking the table a bit and then groaned after she hit her butt bone.

Jisoo stopped eating her food and noticed jennie annoyed face. "What's wrong with you? You have been grumpy all day" Jisoo said and put her fork down.

"Yall remember that dumbass note from earlier?" Jennie said and slowly turned to face jisoo.

"What note?" Joy asked Jennie.

"Someone put a note in my locker," Jennie put her elbow on the table to support her chin.

Jennie sighed before continuing "and... that not was from rosé." Jennie said squeezing her fork hard enough that she could break it any second.

Irene and jisoo looked shocked, joy couldn't even speak, but nayeon was too busy in her own world to care for what they are talking about. Nayeon shrugged her shoulders and continued to eat, smacking very loud.

Irene got annoyed by Nayeon and looked at her. "Are you even listening?" Irene smacked nayeon on the back of her head.

Nayeon almost choked and nodded while still chewing her food, trying to swallow it fast.

"You said that rosé put that note in your locker...but, how do you know it's her?" Nayeon said giving Jennie a confused look.

"You dummy. who else could it be?" Jennie looked at the fork that's in her hand and finally placed down the bended fork.

"I didn't even see her today-" Irene blurted out but, she stopped when someone walked in the lunchroom.

"Welp never mind." Irene said stealing a chip from nayeon who was enjoying her precious chips.

Nayeon groaned and smacked Irene hand away. "Get.your.own!" nayeon snatches the bag away from Irene and move to sit beside Joy.

"Get your own~" Irene mocked Nayeon and crossed her arms over her chest.

Nayeon was about to say something back to Irene but she stopped once she spotted someone. Her face went blank as she followed the person with her eyes. Irene, Joy, and jisoo noticed Nayeon staring at someone, so they followed Nayeon eyes and looked at the person who was making their way to their table.

"What are y'all looking at-" Jennie was cut off when an arm landed around her shoulder.

"How are my lovely fiends doing? Don't y'all just miss me?" rosé smiled at each one of them but stopped once she looked at Joy.
