Hajime'e POV:
Half a year... it's been half a year since things have been in chaos, but now me and my friends are living in Jabberwock Island
18% of the worlds population has been saved and 63% of the world is coming back to normal, thanks to future foundation. Naegi's now a headmaster in the newly built hopes peek academy that not only gives education to the talented but also normal students
But then one day they suddenly came to us in Jabberwocky...
Future foundation...
Or at least what's left of them anyway.
"What? What do you mean time machine?"
i said confused to the white haired blue eyed male who was currently the head of future foundation, Munakata...
"Well with your talent and help from others we might be able to create a time machine te help us restore to the way the world was before that time..."
He said
"But... isn't messing with time dangerous? I mean, one tiny wrong move and we could cause more despair to the earth." I replied
"We know, it's a bold move but... We have to try" Naegi spoke up from the back
"Hold on, Naegi you already learned to let go of the past and focus on what's to come... Why this? Why the sudden change?" I replied again... But what i said was true, he as well as Munakata and the others already learned to let go and knew how risky of a move this is. I need to find out why sudden change of heart
"I assume you're wondering why we told you this, yes?"
A lavender haired girl spoke behind Naegi
"Yes, i would like to know"
"Well, we've been researching history and back when the tragedy happened... We decided to go to the old hopes peek before closing it off for good, but then some of our men found a secret passage..."
"Secret passage? In hopes peek? But didn't you guys already investigate it a long time ago?" I asked
"Yes, but that was back then when we were forced to kill. We didn't really come back to that place that often, but recently we decided it's for the best to take a look. And then we found a secret pass not belonging to the school, but somewhere else... The hideous of Junko Enoshima..."
Junko Enoshima, that name itself sent shivers down my spine.
"Yeah it's like super crazy! It was hidden underground and had major creepy vibes to it!"
The guy with long brown hair and glasses said who was called Hagakura Yasuhiro
"It was mostly just a bunch of junk, something you would find in a 13 year old girls room who watches to much reality tv shows and reads teen dream magazine. It was covered in pink and had a white board with writings of tge word "despair" all over it." The former Ultimate swimming pro said
"But then... We found this."
Kirigi handed me a white metal box with the lock opened up, inside was a note.
And what was written on that note was...
The world has gone into wonderful wonderful despair all according to plan! By none other than the Ultimate despair Queen herself mwha~ Junko Enoshima!
But when our plan would fail which was unlikely.
I would build a time machine to go back in time and taint the world with amazing despair! If this time machine works i get to go back no matter how many times i wanted! And if i fail i get to experience the Amazing Despair that comes with failure!
Ahahahaha!
But i need that pigs help for making this Time machine, like why the hell would i ruin my perfectly pedicured nails on making a time machine!?
Mukuro would do all the heavy lifting while i send my plan into action!
Operation Despair-fying all man kind into action!
Reading a letter that she wrote made me sick to mu stomach, but that's not the only thing that was in the box... Inside was a hand drawn detailed blue print on a "Time Machine"
"We found this and decided not to waist this opportunity to get the world back on it's feet, and bring back the people we lost..." Munakata said, i can hear the excitement but also despair in his voice, i can't really blame him.
"But this was Junko's plan right? How do we know we can trust this?" I said to the detective
"We don't have concrete evidence this will work, but we know someone who might tell us answers..."
She pulled out a picture out from here pocket
"We also found this in there"
In the picture was a little girl in a wheelchair posing and smiling with Junko?
"This is Monaca Towa, you already heard and know about her right?
We assume Junko was planning to build her time machine with Mukuro but then decided to betray her... But we also assume Monaca might know this as well, so me need to contact her."
"Contact her? But where is she?" I said
"Well... that's the problem, Komaru and Fukawa-san were the last ones to see her and they said she blasted up to space, yeah i don't really get it either..." Naegi said.
"But if we do manage to find her we can't expect us to tell her anything because she doesn't trust us, but we do know someone she might trust enough to tell us" She said
"Someone she trusts? Who?"
Munakata grabbed what looked like a photo book whith monokuma stickers all over it, and on the cover it said
Monoca's super duper special book!
Kirigiri pulled out a specific picture from the book... A picture with non other than Monaca Towa sitting on a chair smiling and hugging a monokuma stuffed toy, but there was something else. There was a person tying her hair up into little pigtails
And that person was
Komaeda...
