I snatched my phone away from Harry, stashing it into my pocket and running over to the door. I tried to release the door, in order to open it. But it wouldn’t unlock. I then realised Harry had the keys, he had them in his pocket.

I ran quickly to his downstairs bathroom, putting the lock into place and falling down the doors as tears poured down my face. I didn’t know what to do. What’s Harry going to think? Is he going to tell anyone? Is he going to ask about the sender?

“Ally. Let me in, please?” I heard Harry’s voice from the door, but it didn’t seem arrogant or cocky. It seemed...worried, concerned and most of all, caring. I didn’t know what to do so i stayed frozen near the door, letting out more sobs.

“Ally, please?”

I ignored him again. “Fine. I’m not moving until you open this god damn door.”

I sighed. Thirty minutes had passed, and it had fallen silent. I guessed Harry got bored, and went to his room. I quietly unlocked the door, hoping there was a window or something to get out of. I looked in front of me. Surely, Harry wasn’t in sight. I slowly stepped out, shutting the door behind me.

“You thought i’d left?” I heard the voice i really didn’t need to right now.

I turned to the right, wiping my eyes to prevent my blurry vision. “Listen, Harry, just leave it, ok?” I told him, turning to walk away but his hand grabbed lightly onto my wrist, stopping me from going anywhere, turning me back around on my heel to face me.

“No.”

“Yes,”

“Who is it?” He asked firmly.

“Nobody you know”

“Tell me, Ally, i swear. Or i’ll tell Callum AND the police about this. I’m not even joking.”

“It’s nothing big, it’s just a few texts.”

“Yes, a few horrible threatening texts. Ally, you have a stalker, don’t you realise?”

“It’s not a stalker.” I hissed.

“Well, do you know who it is?”

“At first i didn’t have a clue, i thought it was just a prank, but they kept on texting and texting me, then my mind has just clicked to know who it was.”

“Well, who?”

“It doesn’t matter, just stay out of it. Can i have the front door keys?” I asked him as i walked towards the door.

“Look. I’m not letting this go, yeah, i may be the school’s most popular kid, and maybe even the player of the school but i am not letting this go. Let me help you.”

“I don’t need help.”

“Yes you do, why won’t you just accept it?”

“BECAUSE JUST LIKE OTHERS, YOU’LL END UP WALKING AWAY. YOU’LL END UP SAYING YOU CARE, AND YOU WILL HELP ME FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF WEEKS BUT THEN YOU’LL JUST LEAVE, WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I’LL END UP BROKEN, LOSING ANOTHER FRIEND AND THEN I WILL GET WORSE. I’VE BEEN THROUGH IT BEFORE, I’VE TRUSTED PEOPLE LIKE YOU BEFORE, AND THEY’VE THROWN IT BACK IN MY FACE. I’M SICK OF PEOPLE ACTING LIKE THEY CARE, WHEN THEY DON’T.” Harry had walked right up to me by now.

“Harry, i know you don’t think you will. But you’ll help me at first, and then you’ll get bored, bored of trying to help me. You’ll never realise it but i’m actually a really messed up person. I don’t need your help, i don’t need anybody’s help. I just want you to leave me alone.” I finished, gazing at the floor as i was too nervous to look into his eyes.
