Chapter 2.

***********

I carried my last set of bags up the stairs, the light ones. Callum refused to let me carry anything, obviously he won’t. He hasn’t let me carry anything from the airport, once I had gotten into his car, I had not carried one thing, except for my light hand luggage and maybe a few light suitcases, if I sneaked them.

“Okay, you have brought so much” He laughed, putting emphasis on the ‘so’, acting like a girl.

“Well, this is where I am living, right?”

“Right.”  He smiled.

“Thank you, for this, Callum, you really did save me—“

“Don’t thank me, it isn’t a problem! You better get all that unpacked, it will probably take you all day. Then get a good night’s sleep for school tomorrow!” He cut me off before exiting the room.

School tomorrow, I’m so excited, so very excited to go back to the school I hadn’t been in years, I laughed at my own sarcasm, obviously knowing I dreaded going to school tomorrow. It was even a different school to the one I went before, because the school I used to go, the places were ‘all taken’. I’m not surprised, but my STUPID parents had to send me to---

I was cut off in my thoughts by a vibrating noise, coming from my hand luggage. I had forgotten about ringing Craig!, I quickly went into the bag and pulled out my mobile phone, looking at the caller ID. I immediately picked it up, putting the speaker to my ear.

“Hi…” I said awkwardly.

“Thanks for ringing, I was worrying sick!”

“Sorry, I’ve just got back to Callum’s, I was about to ring you” I lied, hoping he would believe me.

“Yeah, did you have an okay flight?”

“YOU BOUGHT ME FIRST CLASS TICKETS!, I TOLD YOU NOT TOO!” I shouted into the phone.

I know I couldn’t see him, but I knew that he would be smirking, I know him too well. I knew he would find this hilarious and have that face when he wants to laugh so badly, but tries to hold it back.

“Like I said, I would do anything for you. I know how much you hate sitting next to people and you don’t like socialising with anyone..”
