Eraserhead: Year One

Chapter Two - Patrol

In Musutafu at the dead of night, a woman walks alone in the streets. From the corner of her eye, she sees two shadowy figures following her. She attempts to lose them, but they soon push her towards an alley.

Thug #1: Don't move bitch! Make a sound and you're dead!

The first thug uses his Invisible Grip Quirk to hold the woman hostage. While the other uses his Elastic Quirk to steal the woman's wallet. But soon they hear sirens in the distance.

Thug #2: We gotta get out of here!

The thugs soon run off into the darkness and the woman starts to scream. Moments later on a rooftop, the thugs gather to the divide up the stolen riches on the wallet.

Thug #2: I don't like being out here at night.

Thug #1: You afraid of All Might?! We all know All Might doesn't come out at night! We're good!

Thug #2: I heard Kenshi got messed up by some kind of ghost.

The first Thug simply laughs at his counterpart's statement.

Thug #1: A ghost? Aw c'mon! Give me a break!

Thug #2: I'm serious! Kenshi saw his eyes. Red eyes. He was just a blur! Kenshi wound up in the hospital with broken bones!

Thug #1: Shut up! We both know Kenshi's talking shit. What likely happened was that he got hammered after looting some poor bastard and took a walk off the roof, all right. No big loss. He probably thought he saw a ghost.

As the talked, a shadowy figure stealthy glided on the rooftop behind them.

Thug #2: No man. That ain't what I heard at all. There's a new Pro Hero that's been roaming around. He ain't like the rest of them.

Thug #1: Hey! Listen to me! We ain't got nothing to worry about! Nobody followed us! If some Pro Hero somehow followed us, they would've hit us already and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

As the first thug continues to sift through the wallet, the second thug grows more and more fearful about what might happened. At this point, fear got the better of him.

Thug #2: I'm getting out of here, man!

Thug #1: Hey! You want your cut of this money or not?! Now shut up! Shut. Up.

As the Thugs divided up the loot, they heard footsteps behind them, they turned around to see the Pro Hero Eraserhead standing over them. Upon seeing Eraserhead, the two thugs immediately begin running for the door. They try to open the door behind them, but it was locked. As the door was locked, Eraserhead closes in on them.

Aizawa: You two are done.

Thug #1: You should've minded your own fucking business, Hero!

The first thug attempts to use his Invisible Grip Quirk on Eraserhead, but does nothing. The two thugs are bewildered by this.

Thug #1: What the fuck is this?! Why isn't my Quirk working?!

What the thugs didn't know was that Eraserhead had activated his Erasure Quirk on them, deactivating their Quirks. Eraserhead then landed a swift kick to the second thug, sending him through the door and knocking him unconscious. The first thug charged at him, but Eraserhead headbutted him. He then lifted the thug up and dangled him over the roof.

Thug #1: Holy fuck! Don't kill me! Please don't kill me!

Aizawa: I'm not going to kill you. But you won't be hurting innocent people anytime soon. I need someone to let scumbags like you know that no innocent people will get hurt on my watch. I need a scarecrow.

Aizawa then proceeds to knock out the thug. After knocking out the thugs, Aizawa takes them down the rooftop and hangs the two thugs by their feet on a streetlight. After that, he takes off his goggles and puts some eyedrops in his eyes. He was then approached by Ms Joke.

Ms Joke: Hey there, Shota!

Aizawa: What is it, Joke?

Ms Joke: I was wondering if you were busy tonight! It's about time you and me went on a date!

Aizawa: I'm busy, Joke.

Ms Joke looked to the two thugs hanging from the streetlight by Aizawa's Combat Scarves.

Ms Joke: Sure. You look real busy to me. What's the old saying? All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy? Oh and by the way, your fly's down!

As Ms Joke said that, the two thugs began to wake up. They immediately began freaking out as they were hanging by their heels, unable to escape. Ms Joke simply laughs at their predicament. Her Outburst Quirk activates, causing the two thugs to laugh uncontrollably. Aizawa simply sighed in annoyance.

Ms Joke: So what do you say, Shota? Ready for our date?

Aizawa: I don't have time for this, Joke. There's too much work that needs to be done.

With that, Aizawa began walking away from the area to continue his patrol of the city. Ms Joke simply smiled.

Ms Joke: Oh this is far from over, future husband! You'll come around!

What Aizawa and Ms Joke didn't know was that they were being watched. From various angles and hiding spots, the seven assassins hired by Kira Matsumoto were scouting Aizawa. They watch and observed his movements. They began to plan their approach to kill Aizawa and claim the bounty. For now, they would simply scout him and wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. The seven assassins would stalk their target and learn what they can before they go for the kill.
