Peggy spent a few days in NYC before starting her new job working for New York's murder investigation group's leading operation.
It was the night before peggy starting her new job but because the thought of Steve still in her mind she tried to forget about him and the times they spent together well she decided a different way to forget which is to get drunk.
The next morning she woke up late for work with a massive hangover peggy ran straight to the tower hoping she would make it in time but whilst trying to sneak into work she gets caught by her boss Conner Wallace Peggy felt like the wall we're spinning around her (after all she was majorly hungover and did run the whole way there) then Connor looked down at peggy she fainted.....right in front of Wallace ON HER FIST DAY anyway.
Wallace gently moved her onto the couch a little while later she started to wake up still a bit confused. He helped peggy sit up slowly "hey do you want me to get you anything" he said in a light but worried voice she buries her face in her hands and mumbled "god fucking hell"
