Avengers Compound:

Bucky ran through the doors and swept Alison up in his arms.

"You said yes." He whispered, as though he was shocked.

"Of course I did." She laughed

He pulled her into a kiss. Steve rolled his eyes as he walked past them. Bucky pulled away and slid Ali back down to the floor, his fingertips brushing her spine. That earned him a look from her.

He chuckled slightly, sticking his tongue out a little between his teeth.

   "Are we needed here?" He asked

Tony shook his head, gesturing to the door. Steve sighed, waving them off.

"Go." He said "Behave."

Alison laughed at her brother.

"Never." She said, pulling Bucky with her out the door.

Alison's apartment:

Ali laughed as she pulled her fiance through the door of her apartment. He smiled, kicking the door shut behind him.

  "What?" She asked as he looked down at her lovingly.

  "You said yes." He said "twice."

She rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"And I'd say yes a third time too." She said, jumping up and wrapping her legs around his waist.

"Would you?" He asked

"I would."

He smiled.

"Alright then. Marry me."

"I'm going to."

She pulled him in for a kiss. He smiled against her lips as he lowered her to the floor.

  "Have you eaten?" He asked

She nodded.

"Something other than apple toast?" He asked

She nodded, relaxing into his chest.

"I've eaten." She promised "Now I'm tired."

He smiled and scooped her up into his arms.

"Then we'll go to bed."

He carried her to the room and laid her down in the bed, covering her up and kissing her forehead.

"I'm gonna shower before bed." He said, walking to the bathroom.

She smiled a soft sleepy smile before closing her eyes. She felt Bucky climb into bed and she rolled, settling into his arms.

He smiled, pulling her close to his chest.

A few hours later, she woke up. Shivering. She was breathing heavily and she had a look of fear on her face. As she sat up, Bucky's eyes shot open.

"Are you okay baby?" He asked, sitting up and wrapping the blanket around her shoulders.

She didn't respond

He didn't understand how she was cold in her warm apartment. She looked like She was gasping for air. Like she'd just been pulled from deep water. It hit him.

"Tell me about it." He said

She looked at him.

"What?"
