(Norman POV)

I was walking down the alleyway trying to find where Ray had run off to. I got to a house with a gated off garden when I looked in I saw a beautiful woman with orange hair.  She had turned around and noticed me and approached the gate " hello" she said.

I looked into her eyes "a heart full of love" she whispered. "May I know your name, I'm Norman." I said, smiling at her through the gate " and mines Emma" she said in a sweet song bird tone.

"Emma I don't know what to say " I laughed, but then remembered my motive to find Ray "I am lost.." "and I am found" she cupped my face through the gate. "A heart full of love" we both said in unison "I've felt like I've been looking for you my whole life" Emma said to me " a heart full of love, aswell as no regret" she said.

(Ray POV)

I turned the alleyway and saw Norman. He was talking to some woman. I got closer "a heart full of love" I heard them say to each other the girl cupping his face "a heart full of love" he said again 'he was never mine to lose.' I thought of all the fun times we had, how much I loved him ' his heart full of love will never belong to me' I started tearing up.

'A heart full of love' these are the words he'll never say to me' he looked in love happy the happiest I've ever seen him. I smiled 'his heart full of love will live on with her, and I will never feel this way.'

I took off running down the street. I couldn't stand to see them together anymore. It started to drizzle. I stopped once I got a few streets down from where the two were.

"Looks like I'm all on my own again" I saw someone walking down the street. I slid against the wall trying not to be noticed by them in case they were soldiers. They soon passed and I continued to walk down the path ' in the rain the pavement shines like silver'  I started crying ' and all I see in it is him and me forever and forever'

"If only it wasn't just in my mind and I was talking to him and not myself "

"I love him...but know I'm on my own, walking on forever by myself" it's not like it could've worked out in the long run. Me and him both guys, he wants a beautiful wife and I'm just a friend who carries out his plans for the revolution.

I got back to where we all were staying preparing for the day of attack. The rest were off their hats drunk so I was able to make my way to the rooms without any trouble. When I had shut the door I had grabbed my knife and looked into the mirror, I grabbed a piece of my hair which had grown out longer and cut it off.

Once I had finished it was short in the back and had a long piece in the front of it. I was breathing heavily, I put the knife and straightened out what I had just done.

~(the day of revolution)~

(Norman POV)

Today was the day the day we take back the country from the people who only care about themselves and give it back to the people. I looked over at Ray. I had found him back at the tavern we all had been staying in; he's been different ever since that night.

Never mind that he was probably just stressed about the fight yet to come. I nudged his shoulder as the army had come through he looked over and gave me a nod. Us and other guys don, nat, Lucas, yuggo all grabbed our flags and blocked off the horses the men were riding on.

This was our declaration of war  that we were not going to stand for something like this happening.

~(during a battle at the barricade)~

The shots were coming left and right " conserve your bullets! Only shoot when you have a clear shot!" I yelled out trying to make this battle end in a stalemate. But they had just kept coming one by one we were able to take a few of them out but a few of our own had gone down as well.

I made a promise that if I survived this I'd Barry them all myself and leave their badges at their grave, all dying in honor.

(Ray POV)

The army men were all over the other side of the barricade, I needed to do something. I looked around to see what I could grab or do something with. That's when it hit me I ran and grabbed the barrel of gasoline and a torch and ran up to the top of the barricade.

"Back off alll of you! I'll light it and we'll all go up in flames! " I yelled, putting the Torch close to the barrel. None of them were moving, "I'll do it! Don't test me I'm not afraid of this but I bet you are!" I yelled at all of them putting the fire dangerously close. If I slipped even a little it's go off in flames which could happen with my shaking hands.

"He's a mad man, get down!" I heard one of their commanding officers yell. I smirked as the other Soldiers got down and away from where I was. "That should hold them for a few minutes," I told Norman. "Thank you my friend " he told me "of course...friend."

Norman had given the others a pep talk and went over other strategies to win. I stayed up there making sure no one dared to fire a shot or climb up to where I was.

After a half hour or more they started to call my bluff. That's when the others made me get down off the top but I continued to fight with a gun right beside Norman.

We had almost had them. We were doing good but they began to make their way back up the barricade. Every minute and second they inched closer. Damn it what do I do?

One of the soldiers put a gun to Norman's chest, without thinking I grabbed it and held it to my own. I flinched waiting for the shot to be fired. I was okay with this knowing by doing this Norman would be able to live even just a few minutes more.

(Norman POV)

I saw the soldier out there gun against me, but then it was gone "pow!" I heard I looked over... "what?" I saw a ray he had dropped to the ground, blood pouring from his chest I jumped down. "Ray!" I ran to him, he smiled "why would you do that" I said I had tears running down my face as I held him in my arms.

He put his hand "don't you fret, I don't feel any pain" I didn't notice while we were fighting but when he said I noticed the rain falling " a little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now,you're here  that's all I need to know." I looked in his eyes he looked in pain but trying not to focus on it trying to keep his last moments of consciousness.

"Ray, ray no" I held him tight he pulled his body up a little and whispered into my ear "I love you." "I love you too" I said back, he smiled. "A little fall of rain can hardly hurt you now, and I'm here, that's all you need to know."

He leaned back trying to fight death itself. "And you will keep me safe " he said "yes I'll stay with you." I leaned him against the barricade trying to wrap his wound "it's no use Norman, just let it be" he said I refused to stop and continued to try and make the blood stop.

That's when he started singing "a little fall of rain will help the flowers grow" I knew he had given up he knew it was over "if I could heal you or trade my life for yours I would" I cried.

"And rain.. will make the flowers..."he said

"Will make the flowers...." I said after him trying to get him to hold on a bit longer. "...grow" I finished looking into his lifeless eyes. I cupped his face, if only you knew that I truly loved you my flower.

I grabbed his hand "I'll be with you soon ray"
