This is not what Norman expected at all.

All he wanted was to have a nice shopping trip with his boyfriend but no. He had to be in love with a hot head who couldn't let things go.

They had gone to the mall together to get a few new shirts and look at some home decor. Once they had gotten into the store and looked around for a few minutes they came across this couple who seemed to be looking for the same thing, different little pieces to put up in their house or apartment.

Ray picked up a great picture Frame off the shelf and showed it to Norman "this would go well with the blue white colors you said you wanted to go with" he said."Yeah we can put a family photo or a photo on some friends in it." maybe the picture of him and ray out in the snow at christmas or the the picture from the group cookout.

"Yeah, yeah. What else were you wanting to pick up" ray asked him, norman looked around to see if what he was after was close. "Uhh norman" he asked. "One second" the white harried boy said, still scanning for what he was looking for.

Then he finally found it "the table cloth, i was looking for a dark blue one" norman smiled looking down the aisle at the items he wanted. "Wow and couldn't have told me when i asked?" ray said sarcastically to the other. "Sorry"

When they both started walking down the aisle when the woman who had been looking with her boyfriend or husband bumped into them. "Sorry, so sorry" she apologized, "its okay ma'am" ray replied quickly. "I'm just so clumsy I do say, what are you two fine looking young men looking for today, shopping with the ladies I would guess ." the woman said to the two, ray and norman just looked at each other not to sure what to say to the woman's comments.

"Uh no, we're actually shopping for our own home" Norman piped up. " oh i figured two young men like yourselves would be married" she said, ' man this woman's dense' norman thought. "We're engaged ," Ray said bluntly. "You two?Engaged well that has to be some kind of joke" the woman says.

"Why do you assume that it's a joke?" Norman said to the lady. "It's just" she laughed "two men that's ridiculous" the woman continued to mock the idea in front of the two.

Norman looked over at Ray who looked like he was about to blow his top. He just grabbed the other boys hand and gave him a nod ray huffed but it told Norman that he understood not to cause a scene "would you mind stopping gay people exist and they get married so please leave us alone" the white haired boy said.

Despite normans try the woman continued to voice her homophobic opinions, after a few more minutes of this ray finally spoke up.

"You do know you could shut the fuck up and let people live there life" he said

The woman gasped "that's no way you should talk to your elder."

"Well the way you're talking to us you sound like you're five and have no common sense."

"Oh like a faggot like you would know how to talk to normal folk"

"Oh you wanna get into slurs now do you, fuck you I came out here to have a nice day with my husband but someone like you had to come out and ruin it." Raystopped himself from saying more knowing Norman would drag him out by the collar of his shirt if he went any further with his words. "People like me? Do you have something against normal people?" The woman complained and rolled her eyes. This really pissed ray off.

"No no I don't. but I do have a problem with homophobic peices of shit that can't keep there opinions to themself, and before you say anything no I'm not being a asshole your the one who started this whole thing not knowing how to close your mouth!" Ray yelled but not ready to stop.

"Ray we should leav-" Norman Started.

"No Norman, she needs to hear this. I'm tired of letting this go," Ray huffed as the woman looked at him with anger burning in her eyes. "You young man need to learn your place. The only places you two are going after you're done with your time in life is hell with the devil."

"I bet he's better than you, in fact I think you'd be his right hand man" the black haired boy bit back at the lady.

"Ray that is enough" Norman said but Ray ignored him.

"Please like I'd ever be in hell with some fags like you" she said.

"Oh you bitc-" ray was cut off by Norman picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder "huh?" Ray uttered out confused "Norman! Put me the fuck down!"

"No you're embossing yourself, we're leaving" Norman said sternly leaving the aisle and making his way to the front of the store.

"Norman James ratari. Put me down. Now."The black haired boy said.

"Ray Elizabeth Grace you just made a fool of you and me no I am not putting you down we're going home, you need to learn to control your anger" Norman snapped at him with the use of his middle name. "The bitch had it coming though" ray muttered, "she did but that doesn't mean you have a right to say the things you did."
