Butterfly

*Manga spoilers*

Today was the day I was being harvested. It was almost time to go and mom told me to go get ready. I made my way to the bedroom, and got into the dress clothes she had given me. I was almost done when I heard someone come in it must be mom. I turned around and saw Ray, "come to wish me goodbye I see"'I smiled.

He scoffed "no" I heard him say, "I came to try and convince you to run away. I have a plan Norman! You can all get out of here alive" Ray half yelled to make sure mom couldn't hear him but also to get his point through. I moved over to him and slightly laughed "how could you be laughing at a time like this you're about to die!" He said his gaze on the floor. He's crying...I put my hand on his shoulder and made his teary face look up at me "listen butterfly, I don't wanna leave you. If I had a choice I'd stay and before you say anything. I know about your plan, to escape, to...kill your self, butterfly I wish you would have told me."

"Norman I-"

"I know you were just trying to insure are best chances at escape, but that isn't the best way." I pulled Ray close to me and made him look at me in the eyes. His eyes were puffy. I hated seeing him like that "Ray butterfly, you need to promise me no matter what happens when the escape plan goes down you're going with them."

Ray Pushed me away and stormed out the room. I sighed how well Could I have expected that to go. I picked up my suit case and put it on the bed. No point in really bringing anything.

~(when he was getting shipped)~

I walked along the path with mom, I took a deep breath in and let it out 'I've done all I can, I just have to hope for the best' "your suitcase is empty" mom said, she must have noticed from the lack of weight of it. ~(years later)~

I paced around my office looking for files, I had sent hayato out to look for any humans in the forest. Not like there ever were any, we've had demon search party's out looking for us for the past few days. We may have to move locations. I'll have to go out and scout the area to see if we can move anywhere else.

I grabbed my coat and put it one when someone came into the door. I looked over expecting it to be Vincent or zaze. Instead I saw "Emma?.." I asked.

"Norman?!" She said surprised, before she ran up and tackled me into a hug. "I missed you'' I heard her say. They never knew I was alive. "I'm so glad we found you" she said, "did you bring the others?" I asked hoping the little kids had made it through the journey. A few seconds after I had said that don gilda and the little kids and some others I didn't recognize came into the door. "Norman!" I heard the little yell as they all started running towards me. Emma stepped away as they had their time crying and asking me about how I  was alive.

I looked around for one person where's ray? It stood and walked over to the older kids. "Where's ray? " I asked in a quieter tone. Just then I heard someone walking down the hallway that could be him. I went over to the hallway and saw a shorter man with a hairstyle like rays could be him. He came closer and I saw a white streak of hair with the rest of the black.

"Ray?" I asked still confused of whether it was the boy I knew two or three years ago he came closer "if rays who you're looking for he's on his way he's making sure we weren't followed " the man said "I'm mister yuugo I've been traveling with your friends I can only assume your William Minerva". He said they must be looking for him "No. I'm Norman. I run things around here. I'll have my associates take to a place where you can put your things " I said to him.

~( a day later )~
  (Ray POV)

I trudged to where Emma and the others were heading, I had gotten delayed because of some injuries and then ran into some wild Demons I'm almost there. I just have to keep pushing.

After a while more of walking I made it to a base. I made it I walked closer and walked inside only to be stopped by someone walking into me. I fell down onto one of my wound god damn that hurt. I looked up to see someone with their hood on their head "I'm sorry"I heard them say their voice sounded familiar but different . I got up "it's alright compared to the hell out there falling down is much better "

I looked into his eyes and he seemed surprised, his hair was covered by his hood "butterfly ?" I heard him say. "No one calls me that." I said in a harsh turn. He took his hood off and it was

"N-Norman?"
