Singer and a dancer
Singer Norman
Dancer ray
Normal au
~start~Ray had been taking dance classes ever since he was little, contemporary, swing, tap, ballroom, hip hop, and of course ballet. He had also taken some school classes as well but those were just on modern dances that the teacher had come up with. So it didn't really challenge him, it made it especially boring cause they always had to reteach the basics that had been drilled into his head hundreds of times.
Due to this factor no one really knew ray danced unless a teenager would show up to watch a dance recital. Which he doubted with his entire being.
Norman on the other hand had only gotten into music recently, he had been able to pick up guitar in that short time, and had some friends who knew how to play drums, base , keyboard, and other basic instruments.
They were in there second year of highschool and had written a few songs they had composed together but all were instrumental since they couldn't seem to add any lyrics to them.
All of them went to the same highschool so they were able to talk and bond a lot as a group.
Norman was sitting in class as usual, mind drifting off to music and other thoughts. Thoughts that included his black haired classmate, he couldn't lie and not say the little black bird hadn't caught his eye. He was elegant with the way he moved and never seemed to trip over anything, but the thing was he was super hard to talk to.
It was like the guy was committed to ignoring the living hell out him.
But nevertheless that didn't mean Norman still didn't daydream about him. After the class had ended Norman walked up to the boy "hey ray, I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch with me and my friends today" he asked just like he did most days.
"No" ray responded with a dead panned face
'Of course what was I expecting' he sighed "alright then." He frowned and looked at the boy whose attention was still at his desk not even making a try to look him in the eyes. "Ooooo rejected once again " he heard from the side of the room.
He looked over "Emma!?" He exclaimed "how does it feel to be rejected day after day " she put her pencil up to his mouth as if it was a microphone. "Stop it Emma" he pushed her hands away. "Oh come on just one comment for the viewers," she asked. "Shut up" he said into the pencil only to earn a huff from her.
"Excuse me can you move"
Norman looked back at ray whose desk he had been blocking the entire time sealing the boy in his spot watching the awkward interaction. "Oh sorry sorry " he moved and put his hands up "I didn't mean to block you in there " he apologized again. "It's fine " ray took his bag off the seat and walking out the room.
"Well hes blunt " Emma said "wouldn't you think " Norman laughed "everyday he rejects you why do you keep asking" Gilda asked from the door. "Cause he can't say no forever he's bound to say yes one day just to get rid of me" Norman smiled.
"You really don't hear how depressing that sounds, do you," said Don, leaning on his desk. "Maybe you guys just need to take a step out of my love life for once " he muttered. "Aww but what are friends for " Emma said, "we gotta tease our white haired boy somehow."
"Emma you're hard to understand." Emma just nodded "I understand, now let's eat" she said holding up her bento "alright alright I've already had my failed attempt at today we can go eat lunch" Emma pulled Norman out of the classroom and Don and Gilda followed.
They all walked down the Corridor seeing the same things they see everyday, club rooms, classrooms, students, lockers, just all the same. After a little bit more walking they had finally made it to the lunchroom and all sat down at a table and talked about everyone's day and how things were going at home, music and other things as well But not big topics.
