Side story..

Jaehyun's POV

He couldn't stop smelling pheromones, unsurprisingly because he was in the house of a werewolf pack. One in particular pheromone attracted him the most. It belonged to a Beta, he could tell but he wasn't sure what pheromone was being released but he liked it. 'He probably has a mate' Jaehyun thought to himself. 'I should go in the sun for a bit. That'll stop me smelling him.'

The Beta walked up to him and sat in the seat next to him outside as he was enjoying the view. "Came out for some fresh air?" The Beta asked.
"Yeah. I like the view from here. We don't have skies like this in the vampire world~" Jaehyun responded making the Beta hum and nod in acknowledgement
"What about the sun? It dulls your senses, right?"
"Yeah. Might do me some good right now tho."
"Yeah? Why is that?"
"I-... I drank too much," he lied. "my senses were too over stimulating~ I felt nauseous~ I had to calm them down a bit."
"Feeling any better?" The beta asked.
"A little bit~"
"Stay here a bit longer then. I'll get you something." And with that, the Beta was off.

Jaehyun smiled to himself, thinking of the Beta from a second ago. He was very handsome and tall. His voice had a certain deep tone to it which was charming to the Vampire. 'His smile is probably gorgeous.' Jaehyun thought to himself. Just then, the sun's brightness increased as a cloud that was in front of it was blown away. Jaehyun flinched and retreated back into the shade for a bit before noticing the Beta return with a cup in his hands. It smelt good. "Here, its fresh." The Beta smiled, handing the cup to him. He sniffed it before taking a sip.
"Cow?" Jaehyun asked
"Yeah. Cow blood has no effect on vampires other than it relaxes them. Coz you said you drank too much and that you were enjoying the view, I thought that cow's blood would be best." The beta explained putting a smile on the vampire's face.
"Thoughtful~" he said as he drank the rest of the blood, the Beta watching in awe with a proud smile on his face.

"Thank you." Jaehyun said as he handed the cup back to the Beta who wouldn't stop smiling and staring at him.
"Y-you have a bit..." the Beta trailed off before pointing to his face to indicate that the vampire had dropped a bit down his face by accident. Jaehyun's ears turned red a bit as he tried to wipe it off. The Beta giggled at the act making his heart flutter a little bit. His giggle was low pitched too and kinda loud in comparison to the average. He assumed that his regular laughter would be higher in pitch and even louder than his already booming voice.

Jaehyun stared at the Beta with heart eyes before clearing his throat. "I'm Jaehyun."
"I remember~ Jeno told us. I'm Xuxi but my some call me Lucas."
"What would you prefer me to call you?"
"What ever you feel comfortable with, 宝贝."
"Well, you've already picked a name for me." Jaehyun laughed a bit, showing his dimples. Lucas smiled again, noticing the cute indents in his cheeks.

A sudden breeze blew, making Jaehyun's scent waft into Lucas's nose. His scent was similar to his own. Jaehyun watched as shock and confusion washed over Lucas's face and his eyes turn dark orange. "W-whats wrong?" Jaehyun asked, moving slightly closer to the Beta
"Nothing, just surprised~ your scent is.. very similar to my own... it caught me off guard." Jaehyun smiled before sitting back in the chair, Lucas sitting with him

"Let's talk. You can tell me about yourself~"
