Background:
Jung hoseok has always been a bright person. He always smiled and made sure to never let his emotions get the best of him. Many people even called him sunshine due to his chirpy attitude. However it was all a simple facade.

As an orphan, Hoseok learned from an early age that smiling was his only ticket to happiness. "No one is going to adopt you with that scowl on your face Hoseok, " The headmistress warned. As time passed and all his friends left him behind for their new families, hoseok soon came to believe those words. Though it was a little too late as nobody was willing to adopt a 14 year old boy. Since then, hoseok learned his lesson and always kept a smile plastered on his face. He began to notice how much of an effect it had. The more he smiled, the more interviewers were willing to pick him. If he smiled, he managed to stay out of trouble or at least get out of it with a simple warning or reprimand. The more he smiled, the more he convinced himself he was happy and as long as he was 'happy,' it was ok.

Min Yoongi came from a middle class family. They weren't too rich or too poor. His family loved him very much as he was an only child. He usually got what he wanted and was very content with his life.
