Although my feelings weren't fully sorted out, one thing was certain:

being with Camila, didn't feel right

It had been only hours since I had come to this conclusion, and the idea had settled faster than I would've had liked.

I was going to break Camila's heart, while I wished and wished I could do the exact opposite. I ached knowing that Camila would cry because of me. Camila didn't deserve to be lied to, in fact, I believe it would hurt her more if I kept my feelings from her. It was probably the last thing she wanted to hear, but I had to tell her.

I wanted Ash...

I was dreading the conversation that was destined to happen. To waste time, I was sitting in the hospital cafeteria scrolling through my notes, and listening to music. I had put on a playlist of songs that felt nostalgic to me, and ones that made me feel invincible, like the worst thing on the world could happen, and my only reaction would be: "Oh well."

I decided that I needed to tell Camila NOW, and If I waited any longer, I might chicken out.

With that, I made my way to her room. When I walked through the door she could tell something was off.

"Lo, what's wrong?"

"Camila-" I started, unable to get the words out. "I- I need to tell you something."

I saw her face fall, I didn't have to say another word, she knew what I was going to say.

"Camila, I love you, but not the way you love m-"

"I know Lauren." She sighed "You love Ash."

I nodded, and tried to contain my emotions,

"Camz, I'm so sorry." I said weakly, wiping the tears that were beginning to fall.

"Don't cry Lo." Camila said with a sadness in her voice. "Go get her."

"Huh?" I asked uncertain of what I just heard.

"Well you love her right?" she asked

I nodded, and sniffled

"Then go get her." She shook her head.

I sighed, and opened my texts, I showed Camila the last one she sent me, It was when Camila was in labor.

"I don't know where she is Camz, she hasn't texted me since then, and she's hardly been in touch with Toby, and the label!" I said, now having a hard time seeing, due to my tears.

Camz looked at me with sympathy

"Lo, I know you'll find her if you look, but you're sure as fuck not gonna find her here..." She smiled at me "Go, I'll talk to you later."

"Thank you Camila." I whimpered, and walked out of the room.

I made my way down to the ground floor, and walked out of the building. I had no idea where Ash would be, but my instincts told me to go to Astralwerks, to see Toby, The only problem, being money...

I decided to call him instead.

As the phone rang, I got more and more nervous.

Finally, he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Toby, It's Lauren, Um, you know, Halsey's, well, I don't know what."

He chuckled "Hey Lauren, what can I do for you?"
