First Day (CHAPTER 2)

DING! 

i woke up to an email from Badlands High-school, I couldn't believe that today, I, Ashley Frangipane would have my dream job. it might not seem like teaching choir would be something you'd consider a "dream job", the truth was, i'd always had a passion for music, writing, singing, producing, everything. Thank god for my family, the'd always been so accepting of me, my passions, and my sexuality, i'm bisexual, i'm glad i had them, my brothers and I are really close, and have always been there for me. I rolled out of bed and headed for the shower, i was currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment, it was the cheapest, and closest thing to the school.  I got into the shower and asked alexa to play the 1975 radio, i didn't listen to them much, but I had an odd urge to listen to them today. The first song that started playing was Sex, i knew almost all the lyrics. after Sex was over, If i believe you came on, then menswear, i was halfway through love it if we made it, when i turned the water off. i walked over to my closet, and grabbed my favorite pair of black jeans (today I was feeling good!) and a small black t-shirt, I lived almost 15 minutes from school, so i had to get going. i hesitated, and before i walked out the door, I grabbed the basketball jacket that the school gave me when I was hired. I locked my door, and walked to my car, it was an Audi A4, it was older and a red-ish color. I hopped in the drivers seat and headed for my first day of work!

getting into the building was easier than i thought, there wasn't much security, we just had to state our names, and room number. when he asked me my name and room nmber i responded: 

"Ashley Frangipane, room 93" 

"Yes" he marked something on his clipboard, "You're new right?"

"Yes." i responded with a smile "is it that obvious?"

He laughed. "I'm Peder Losnegård, but you can just call me lido" we shook hands. "if you ever need help navigating the building, or with anything for that matter I-"

"Hey LOSERgård!" a man shouted "why don't you leave your hookup alone! shes to pretty for a loser like you!"

Lido sighed, "That's Gerald, he's about the biggest asshole in the world, if we didn't have a "no violence"  policy, I would've beaten his ass so long ago" 

"No shit, I've only been here a few minutes and I can't stand him" I said rolling my eyes, i looked back at lido and said: "Well, i'll see you around!"

"See ya!" he replied back as i drove past the gates 

"Bye Hottie!" Gerald screamed after me. I rolled my eyes, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened, I had vivid memories of high-school, when random boys would ask me out. i'd always say no. probably because the boys who did ask me out were only going to use me, they just wanted to be popular by having a "hot girlfriend" I went through most of high-school being single.

I pulled into the school parking lot, locked my car and headed inside for the main office, once I got inside I saw the secretary behind the desk, she was bent over trying to grab something on the floor, she was wearing a white short skirt, (showing off a generous amount of leg) and a yellow blouse, I think she caught me staring because I heard her chuckle and say:

"Take a picture, it'll last longer."

I looked at her kind of embarrassed, and she started cracking up. 

"Hi! i'm Ms. Delevingne, " she said. "You're Ms. Frangipane right?" she asked

"That's me." I said still a little embarrassed. "Sorry about tha-"
