○DALAYZA○
I find Xavier in the library the next morning, working on some of his assignments. I casually sit down, taking out a book from my bag. I open to a random page, pretending to read it.
"It must be hard." I say after a while, Xavier looking up at me confused.
"To have all the responsibilities dumped on you." I explain, and he sets his quill down. "I mean, having to answer your assignments, make your parents proud, and do Tom's bidding all at the same time?" Xavier snorts.
"You don't even know half of it. And when I'm home, I have to take care of my brothers because my parents are too busy to take care of their children." I nod along, staring into his dark eyes.
"What are their names?"
"Axel, Alex, and Jax." He counts of fingers.
"I totally understand, my little sister, Zoey, is really annoying." Okay, so that's not completely true. My older sister Audenzia owns a cat, Zoey, who is really annoying. She steps all over my desk, coughs up hair balls all over my carpet, and leave cat's fur everywhere! Xavier nods, looking back down at his parchment.
"Maybe I could help you? Take off some stress from you?" I suggest. He thinks about it for a while, and nods. I move to the edge of my seat.
"Tom asked me to study more about these creatures called dementors?" He recalls the name. Dementors? Aren't those the things that guard Azkaban? Why on earth does he need to know about those?
"I can do that." I nod happily, which he returns a half smile. I get up, looking through the books of the library.

"Dementors are soulless creatures, a phantom species who, as their name suggests, gradually deprive human minds and intelligence." I read to myself, flipping to the next page. After about 20 minutes, when I think I'm ready, I walk to the common room to find Tom. I see him talking with Mulciber, who glares at me when I walk in. I stick my tongue out at him, sitting beside Rowen and across from Tom.
"Tom, can I speak to you?"
"Not now." I huff angrily at him, tapping my foot on the floor impatiently.
"Tom!" I breathe angrily, and all three boys stare at me in disbelief.
"I need to talk to you." I repeat, watching his chestnut eyes stare into my soul. He raises an eyebrow, and then looks at Adrian and Rowen. They both leave immediately, talking amongst eachother in hushed tones.
"What?" He asks angrily.
"Dementors are soulless creatures that feed off of happiness, fear, and intelligence. They guard the prison, Azkaban. They are part of the phantom species." I recite, checking off each word in my head. Tom looks at me with his head tilt to the side, his brows furrowed.
"I gave Xavier that task."
"Your welcome."
"Your rather loud, not like normal quiet girls." He criticizes, crossing his legs.
"I wasn't born to be soft and quiet, I was born to make the world shatter and shake at my fingertips." I say proudly with a smirk, gripping onto the arms of the velvet green chair. Tom raises his eyebrows at this, his eyes following me up and down.
"I'm going to Hogsmaede this weekend, I'd like you to come with me."
"Is Tom Marvolo Riddle asking me out on a date?"" I taunt. Tom merely snorts before getting lost in the pages agian.
