as i roll out of my bed, i stumble to my bed and change my clothes. today is my 17th birthday aka the day where you meet your soulmate. basically you get a colored dot on your wrist and your soulmate has the same color.
"y/n have you checked your wrist?" my mom asked as i walked down the stairs.
"not yet but i will soon!"
"oh ok, well good luck with everything i love you"
"thanks mom, i love you bye"
and with that i was on my way to school. you would think having a bright color on your wrist would be easy to help find your soulmate, but they could be anywhere around the world so it just depends if your lucky.

as i walked into the school i couldn't help but look a ruel. me and him used to be best friends until about a year ago, he blew up in the music industry and ever since then forgot about me. i hate to admit it i still like him a lot, i mean how could i not. i finally peel my eyes off of him as i make my way to first period.
my first few period went by pretty ok, but as i made my way through the hall all my books fell when a body collided into me.
"oh shit let me help yo-" he started, until he noticed it was me.

his eyes slowly went from my eyes to my notebooks but suddenly stopped, it's almost like he froze. i looked down as well only to see his eyes in contact with my wrist. i furrowed my eyes in confusion until he slowly pulled up his sleeve revealing the same colored dot on his wrist.
"no fucking way" he whispered.
"we're soulmates?"
