as i finally finished getting ready i looked at my outfit in the mirror. my best friend is forcing me to go on a date with this random guy. apparently it's her boyfriends mate and i'm not very excited to go. all i know about him is his name is ruel and he's just my type. i grabbed my phone off my bed and started driving to the fair where we would meet.

i finally pulled up to the fair but then realized i have no fucking clue what this dude looks like. i quickly grab my phone and text my friend.

abby he just texted he and said he's waiting by the ticket booth, he's really tall so u won't miss him

i follow her orders and start to walk towards the ticket booth. i cant lie and say i'm not excited to meet him, i mean the way she described him he sounds perfect. i finally made it to the location and start to look around, but i can't seem to find him anywhere. i was honestly just about to leave until i felt a light tap on my shoulder.

as i turned around i was met with a beautiful boy, he could totally be a model. and saying he was tall is an understatement since i had to look up quite a lot to look him in the eyes.
"hey are you y/n? this might be awkward if you aren't but you fit the description my friends gave me"
oh my lord his accent
"y-yeah that's me hi, you must be ruel?" i questioned
"mhm that's me. so what do you wanna do first?"
"well we could walk around a little and get to know each other if you want?"
"i'd like that, follow me" he smiled as he softly grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
as we walked around we talked about pretty much everything. i found out he was pretty famous but didn't make a big deal out of it. i told him a little about my life and turns out we have a lot in common.
"ooo come here i wanna try this!" ruel suddenly said as he yanked me to the basketball hoops.
"ruel you realize these things are rigged right?"
"whatever you say love, but your gonna regret saying that once i win this for you"
once he payed for 3 tries he starts to throw the ball.

"wow ur a pro" i laugh
"hey watch your mouth now i still got one more try, watch this"
he turns back to the hoops and shoots the ball, and to my surprise he actually makes it. guess i spoke too soon.
"HA HA i told you i could make it!!" he yells as he pulls me into a hug and spins me around.
all i could do was admire how cute he was. shit we only just met and i think i'm falling for him. he ended up giving me the price he won as we made our way to the ferris wheel. once we got one we both sat in a peaceful silence watching the view.
"are you cold?" he asked noticing me shivering a little.
"a little but i'll be fine"
"nope i'm not letting you get cold here's my jacket" he replied handing me his hoodie.
"noo then you will be cold"
"y/n, take the hoodie"
i finally give in as i take his hoodie and slip it over my head, because of the height difference it's almost like a dress.
"i'm really glad i came today" i said out of no where, looking into his green eyes.
"i'm glad too, i hope there will be more of these in the future."
"i hope so too"
i didn't realize that as we were talking, we both started to lean in. we got close enough to where our lips were almost brushing.
"can i?" he questioned.
"please"
and with that our lips connected. they moved together for what felt like forever, and i never wanted this moment to end. we eventually pulled away and rested our foreheads together.
"i hope i get to do that more often" he smiled
"trust me, nothings stoping you"
