(Osamu's pov)
Falling flakes of powdery snow cover the mountain ridge in white~
It was a stormy day through the mountains wood,i was salking my way home.
In a rundown house in a ghostly village~
Walking through the woods as my mind fill with the memories with you...
We lean in close throughout the cold, winter night~
You in your beautiful kimono, leaning to each other.
"The day that we met, it snowed then, too,"~
The beautiful crane....
You whisper fondly with a warm smile~
I wonder how are you now...
I turn my face, flushed from the hearth fire~
I wonder what are you doing now...
And hide in the shadow of your sleeve~
The Story of the crane and the human....
.
.
.
I was walking deep into the woods until something crashed.I walked into the trees and saw a beautiful crane bleeding shotted by a arrow.
I quickly brought i home and treated its wounds.
"How selfish humans are now..." i muttered.
Few weeks has passed and the crane was fully healed.I held it close and let it flew away gracefully...
I watched it flew away and something was awaiting for me to the next day.
I knocked at my door was the first greeted me in the morning a woman in a blue kimono speaked.
"Greetings young man..,can i have a shelter here for awhile you see the snow is quite strong..." the lady in blue looked up at me and smiled.
I smiled back not knowing what fate awaits to us..
The months have passed ived learned she travels alone and homeless so i let her stay and eventually both of us falled for each other.
"(y/n)...." i called her name, she was staring at the window and glanced at me.
"Yes,osamu?" she asked.
"Marry me..."
(Reader's Pov)
With the approach of the spring~
Years have passed.
I sing with the twittering birds of its joyous changes~
I was singing at my usual spot near at the window staring outside.
"What a beautiful voice," you murmured tenderly~
"im home" my husband greeted me.
"Welcome home samu~!" i greeted him with my usual cheerful voice.
And just those simple words made me so happy~
He smiled at me and i smiled back.
"If one day, I grow old, and can no longer
Sing beautifully for you, would you still love me?"~He walked to me and carried me to our shared bed.
"Of course I would," you smile kindly.
Gently, your large hand caressed my cheek~
