ANDRIANNA'S P.O.V.

"No, no you are lying to me, again." He shakes his head vigorously.

What's happened to him?

"Huh? Xavier listen to me---" I take a step towards him but was shocked to see he was taking a step backward.

"Don't come near me please." He pleads trying to get away from me.

"Hey buddy, listen. She is really here." Brian slowly approaches Xavier as he keeps his eyes on me like I am going to come near him if he averts his eyes even for a second.

"Here, Xavier. Relax." He slowly places his hands on his shoulder and makes him sit back on his seat.

"She is not a hallucination, Xavier. I am able to see her too." He reassures him and gestures for me to come closer.

I take tentative steps towards them and stop at a good distance. Brian reaches his hand out and grabs mine.

"See, I can touch her." He shows our hands to Xavier and then slowly grabs one of his hands and brings it closer to mine till they are touching.

As soon as his finger touches my hand, his fearful expression is replaced by that of shock.

"Are you really here?" He asks, his voice breaking at the end.

He places his hand on my arm.

"You are really here. You are not a hallucination." He whispers lifting his glossy green eyes to meet mine.

"Yes, I am." I assure him taking the hand on my arms between my hands.

"I am here." I place my hand on his jaw.

"I missed you so much." He says placing his hand over mine on his jaw and then engulfs me in a tight hug.

"I missed you too." I whisper as I slowly relax my stiff posture and bring my hands around him.

I feel the dam of emotions break as all those feelings come out of the corner of my heart and fill it with a pleasant warm feeling. My heartbeat increases and I feel that familiar feeling in my stomach.... Even after 6 years, he still has the same effect on me.

"Hey, why are you crying?" He asks wiping the tears on my cheek that managed to escape my eyes.

"Nothing, happy tears." I force out a smile and was so happy to see him smile. How much I have missed that smile of his!

"Okay now that Andrianna's here. Everything's okay right? It's dinner time now." Brian says coming beside Xavier and help him walk to the living room.

"Pizza!" I chirp when I see boxes on the table.

"Yup, especially for you, Anna baby." Brian chuckles after making Xavier sit on the couch.

"Although he can walk but he still needs a bit of support." Brian says coming up to me when he sees my confused expression.

"Oh yeah, right." How can I forget he was lying down for 6 whole years. Of course he needs to develop his motor skills again.

"Where's Matt?" I ask looking around.

"He must have gone back to the agency." Brian replies opening a box.

"Okay." I say sitting on a chair and take a slice.

There's an awkward silence in the room as we eat our pizzas. Soon the dinner is over and so is that suffocating awkwardness.

"Xavier it's time for your meds." Brian says and Xavier nods.
