My body felt so heavy for some reason. There was no pain or any sign of getting crushed by debris from the falling building. Now that I remembered that incident, I think I didn't close my eyes when that large chunk of concrete approached me at high speed caused by the power of gravity. It was as if my consciousness suddenly got cut off before that debris crushed me and the other passengers that happened to be on the same bus as I was.
But, what is this sensation? It was so warm. I had heard that dying made you felt cold but I guess that wasn't true at all. It was quite heavy but I could still sense every part of my body. It was kind of difficult to move. But, at least I was sure that my body was still intact.
Slowly, I opened my eyes. I found myself in an unfamiliar room. It wasn't my room or any room I had been inside before. I didn't remember how did I arrive here. Maybe, I got rescued by someone and this is a new type of ward or something? Or perhaps I died and this is the afterlife? Well, let's confirm things by asking someone. If this were a hospital ward, there might be a nurse on standby somewhere.
I tried to get up however my body felt so heavy that I couldn't even move an inch. Did I got injured so heavily that I couldn't move at all? But, there's no pain at all. Ah!! Maybe the anesthetic is still active or in the worst case, my nerves got cut off and made me completely disabled. I completely wish that it was the former but being unable to move made me worried.
Ah, that's right. I just need to call someone. I took a deep breath.
"Gaaa! Gu?"
Instead of calling someone, my mouth leaked out some strange voice. It was not a voice an adult man can make. Don't tell me the impact didn't cut my nerves but I was disabled from stroke?!! That's unbelievable!! As a medical scientist, I should have regulated my diet and exercise. Could it be caused by the shock during the incident? No, no, no, let's think positively. At least I was still alive. There would be a way to solve this problem. After all, my brain is still working just fine.
But, none is coming. Did the nurse fail to hear my voice? Let's try again.
"Gaaa...."
As expected, another weird sound came out of my mouth. Also, moving my mouth and tongue was a bit difficult. Maybe the hypothesis of me getting a stroke was right.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Rapid footsteps could be heard from outside the room. Finally, there was someone who can hear me. I hope he or she was someone who can explain my situation.
Kacha!
The sound of the door being opened came from nearby. I heard the footsteps became closer and when that person entered my sight, I froze in surprise. In front of me, there was a large Caucasian woman who looked at me worriedly. She had blonde hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes. Her skin was quite fair and her figure was very slender. If not for her large stature, she would be in my strike zone.
"$#$##$, &$#&$#&##&$&#$&#"
She spoke some language I couldn't comprehend at all. I knew she was a foreigner but the language she was speaking wasn't something I was familiar with. It wasn't English, Japanese, German, or Russian. However, it wasn't Spanish, Italian, Latin, or Arabic. Was it Dutch? Indian? or perhaps an ethnic language?
As I was in deep thought about her language, the woman stretched her arms toward me. It was as if she was about to lift me in her hug. Lady, even your stature was larger than me, lifting an adult man isn't easy you know.
E?
I was dumbfounded. I could feel that my back had left the bed. Or rather, she did it quite easily. As a man, I felt quite humiliated. Furthermore, in this position, her large asset was very close to my face.
