Kathleen froze in shock as she stood staring at the text message. She couldn't believe what it said, especially when she saw who it was from. It read:

Hi Kathleen, I know we haven't spoken in a while and I'm sorry about that. I miss you. I'll be in town soon so maybe we can meet up?

Mark x

She must have been staring at the phone for longer than she thought as Kayley turned to her.

"What's happened?" she asked sounding concerned.

Kathleen opened her mouth to respond but no sound came out. Instead she sighed and handed the phone to Kayley. Kayley gasped when she said it.

"That's so weird, we were only talking about him earlier!" she exclaimed.

Kathleen nodded not trusting her voice. She had no idea what to feel. Did she want to see Mark again? Did she even want to reply?

She smiled silently at Kayley as she handed the phone back to her.

Belle rummaged in her pockets frantically trying to find her car keys. Why when she was in a hurry could she never find anything! She sighed in relief as she eventually found them in her bag.

The journey seemed to take forever, she was so nervous about the new job. Even though she had a couple of weeks of training that still didn't help settle her nerves.

Eventually she arrived and took a deep breath before entering the hall. She gasped at the sheer scale of it.

"Belle!" she heard someone shout.

She turned around and saw Lousie running towards her.

"Hey." Belle said as she hugged Louise.

"What are you doing here?" Belle asked.

"Jimmy is rehearsing in this hall, so I wanted to surprise you." Louise grinned happily.

They stopped talking as someone official walked over to them.

"Okay Belle, if you want to follow me. Did you bring your paperwork?" he asked.

She nodded and followed him, waving to Louise on the way past. She followed him through to an office where he held out his hand so that she could give him the paperwork.

"You can grab yourself a coffee if you want." he stated as he gestured towards a machine out in the hall. She nodded and wandered into the hall. She stood behind a guy, waiting patiently for him to finish.

She gasped as he turned to face her and she found herself face to face with Adam Rickett.

"Oh my god Lee, what have you done?!" Chloe exclaimed as she saw all the clothes that had been cut to pieces. She sighed and began to pick them up.

"I should say it was fairly obvious." he said sarcastically.

She winced slightly from his tone.

He sat watching her as she knelt on the floor. He watched her closely in between taking sips of the beer that was in his hand.

"You didn't have to cut them up." she sighed.

"Yeah I did." he said slurring slightly.

"You are so immature." she muttered.

He stood up and staggered towards her. She stood up and backed away from him. She couldn't quite interpret the look on his face and right now she didn't know what he was capable of. His face was virtually touching hers and she could smell the alcohol on his breath.

"What did you say to me?" he sneered.

"Nothing." she squeaked.

"Good." he said before turning away from her.
