I woke up to the sunrise once again. It was so magical. So I got out of bed and got dressed. I didn't do anything with my hair because I love how it flows in the morning sun. I opened my door to my new balcony in my room. I climbed up to the roof and sat at the peak top. I put my hand to the morning sun as almost if I could tough it. I think I stayed up there for a little while until I heard someone calling me from the front door. Hmm I wonder why. So I climbed down to my balcony and walked in and shut my door. I walked down stairs to find Glenn with his head in his hands and Maggie staring out the window with crossing her arms. I must have made a noice then they both looked at me. Suddenly the both were running to me.
Oh my god! Kathleen where were you? Maggie said bending down to me. Glenn did the same.
I was on the roof staring at the sunrise why? I asked looking at them with confusion. Wait you were on the roof? Why?! Glenn asked. Because I love watching the sunrise and it's warmth. I do it everyday. Oh wait were you worried about me hmm? I said with a laugh and smirk. Then I realized that last night was the first night they had me. I looked at both of them.
I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys but that's just my morning ordeal. Like a morning routine. I said with a smile. We all laughed for a while then Glenn stood up. I'm sorry girls but I just remembered that I have to go for an important run today. He said as we stood up. Oh my gosh I forgot too. Well lets get your things. Maggie said as we all started walking out to the storage garage where we say Aiden, Nichols, Tara, and Noah.
Oh you found her. Where was she? Tara said ruffling my hair. Oh I bet she was on the roof. Deanna said walking up to us with her husband Reg. Wait yes how did you know? Maggie said an Deanna laughed. Well she's been doing that since she's came here. Deanna said an looked at me. Then Tara threw a backpack at Noah. I heard you were talking to Holly last night, what's here story? Tara said to Noah as I help load up the van with supplies. Why do you ask? Noah responded. No reason. Tara responded back to Noah with a smirk. Umm hmm. Noah laughed. It's an innocent question. Don't make me hurt you. Tara lunged at Noah's shoulders playfully an almost ran into Maggie. Oh sorry! They both said and Maggie laughed. It's fine. Maggie responded. Then I turned to Reg , Aiden and Deanna. Got everything? Reg asked his son. First aid kit, yellow pages, an Glenn made a check list. We are good I swear. Aiden responded. I know I'm just a worrier that how that wall wound up around us. Reg said. Then Deanna reached over and kissed his son on the cheek. Love you be safe. Deanna said. Take care dad. Aiden smiled. I'm supposed to be saying that to you. Reg responded. Then once we were done packing up the van I walked over towards my parents. Is that everything? Glenn said. Yes sir. Tara responded. Alright. Glenn said. All set? Maggie smiled. Mhm-hmm. Glenn responded.
You got this, you always do. Maggie toughed his arm. Yeah. Glenn said then kissed mom. Then he crouched down to me. Hey is there a slight chance that I can go? I said with puppy dog eyes.
No way Angel eyes. Your safe here not out there. Glenn said standing up and kissed the top of my head. Okay but I love you dad. I said hugging him. I love you too- Glenn said then Maggie hugged me into her hip side. Glenn was going to finish his sentence but got interrupted by Aiden.
Daylights burning! Let's go. Aiden side getting in the car. Then Deanna, Reg, Maggie, and I walked to end of the van. Then we heard this strange musics coming from inside the van.
(In the van)
Tara: So, seriously, though, what's her story?
Load music starts playing.
Noah: Hmm great, another mix.
♫ Now your going to die! ♫ Beats drop
Tara covers her face in her hands. Glenn and Noah just laugh.
Glenn: Helps draw them away. (Sarcasm)
(Outside of the car.)
We all just laughed.
Hour has passed. I went with Maggie to Deanna's house to hangout for a bit but then we found someone there it was Tobin. He Deanna, Reg I need to talk to you please it's about putting Abraham in charge of building the wall as our leader. Tobin said as we all walked in the house. Hey Honey how about you go look for those field plans there on a poster downstairs. Maggie said as I went to go look for them. It has been at least three minutes since I've been gone so I decided to go back upstairs. But before I could mom was downstairs with me I almost ran into her. She scared me so I dropped the poster.
Oh sorry. I said picking it up. It's fine. I came to get you cause Tobin was gone- Mom started then she stopped. What's- i started then she shushed me. She grabbed my arm and we walked up the stairs quietly. We heard talking. It was father Gabriel talking to Deanna.
Rick... his group...they're not good people. They've done things. They've done unspeakable things.
Deanna: To make it out there as long as they did, they must have done things. Rick said as much. They survived. That's what makes them assets.
Gabriel: You're wrong. They can't be trusted. They're dangerous. You may believe that that did what they had to do, that they were afraid and so they— the day will come... when they will put there own lives before yours and everyone else's and they will destroy everything you have here, everything you're working so hard to build. 
Deanna: thank you, I umm have a lot to think about. Then Deanna closed the door. Then mom turned towards me.
Go tell Rick everything you heard just now. Please protect our group, protect us. There is a back door in the basement go out from there. She said with tears in her eyes of anger and betrayal. So I ran back downstairs and out the basement door. I ran for my life to uncle Rick's house. But then I saw the worst man imaginable right now since the black hooded man, It was Gabriel. Well miss Kathleen where are you going to so fast? He said with a smile. GET AWAY FROM ME! I said then I tripped on my shoe the crawled up and ran faster then I have ever ran. I finally got to uncle Rick's house I turned the knob and slammed the door open. I was gasping for air. I saw. Carol and Rick talking.
Rick! Gabriel has betrayed us I-I heard it from- Deanna's house I-I was down stairs with mom and we over heard Deanna and Gabriel talking- about what you have done what the group has all done to survive but in very bad ways. I yelled breathing shortly. He ran over to me and grabbed my shoulder. Thank you for telling me Kathleen you really are or girl now. Then Carol put her hand on my check and smiled. Don't thank me thank mom or umm Maggie she's the one who told me too. I said. Well like mother like daughter Carol said as we gathered everyone up from our group and told them to not trust Gabriel. Then we all saw Gabriel put a letter by Deanna's door. He knocked then left. She opened the door then picked up the card and tore it to pieces. I'm glad she's taking our side on this. She knows us. She's one of us. Now to figure out Gabriel.
