Glenn's morning...

I was adding another hole to Maggie's holster belt. To make it tight and less uncomfortable for her. Once I was done I looked at the photo that I had of Maggie, Enid, Kathleen and I that we took after the incident with the wall breaking. By now we had the wall up in no time. It took us a week, so not to long. One of Enid's and Kathleen's favorite songs was playing on our record player. I could hear Kathleen rocking out in the living room. And I heard Enid bouncing a ball on her wall of her room. I picked up the belt as I put my shirt on to start the day. Hey Honey? Do you have any toothpaste left? Because we just ran out. Maggie said leaning against the wall. Ha no, cause someone's been borrowing it everyday for the past two weeks. She rolled her eyes. As I gave Maggie her belt. Enid! Kathleen! Maggie yelled. What? Enid yelled back. Yes? Kathleen said peeking around the corner. I can't hear you Enid come down here! I yelled as Kathleen laughed. Enid ran downstairs. All I said was 'what?' Enid laughed as we said it at the same time. Maggie shook her head an laughed. While Kathleen giggled in the corner. You heard me. Enid said. Yeah. I laughed. Hey Kathleen it's time to change your bandage. An do one of you have any toothpaste left? Maggie asked. Okay. But we are both out of toothpaste. Kathleen said going back upstairs with Enid. Bye dad! The girls yelled downstairs. Maggie an I laughed. Come on my love. Let's find you some toothpaste an then we'll make some breakfast. I'm staved. I said then Maggie l rolled her eyes. Oh your staved huh. Your talking to the pregnant lady over here. Maggie said rinsing an apple off. I'll be back soon I've got to go ask around for toothpaste. I laughed as I opened the door Maggie ran over to the living room and she grabbed a pillow an through it at me. As I hurried up and open an closed the front door. I went to the pantry to ask around if we have anymore toothpaste. But when I looked in there, nope nothing. Oh great. I said as Rick came in. Oh no what happened now? Rick asked. Well I told Maggie that I'd get her toothpaste but there's none left. An you don't want to piss off a pregnant lady. I chuckled. Rick scuffed. Yeah not that pregnant lady. Rick said. Well what do I do? I asked him. Hmm Daryl and I were going to go for a run. Tell you what I'll make sure we'll get you some toothpaste for all your girls cause Michonne and Carl need it too. Rick said. Sound good thanks Rick. I said shacking Rick's hand. No problem anything for your family. Rick said shacking my hand back. Then Daryl came up to me. Hey how's your girls doing man? Daryl asked. There good an hey maybe we should have dinner tonight all together maybe? I questioned and Rick looked at Daryl. Sure I don't see why not. Rick said. Yeah. Cool I'm down. Daryl agreed as well. Alright. Umm then when daylight goes down? I asked. Sure. Rick agreed an Daryl nodded. Then they left an I walked back home. But before I got there I saw Maggie already tending to her little garden. Maggie. I said and she looked up. Hey. We got the trellises in, we can start going vertically. Double up yield of tomatoes per square foot. We can only keep stretching our rations so far. As she was tying polls together. Then I walked over to her to help. Then she looked down. Still haven't seen a single bud. She said with doubt. Babe. It'll grow. Maggie smiled. We're going to be okay. I said with a smile then we heard a noise. To where we were holding a prisoner for the past few days. We headed towards the cell. Then we went down there and saw he finally awake. Maggie an I put our guns up. Then in the nick of time Rick came back with Daryl with a whole truck full of food, and supplies. Come on your coming with us. Maggie said grabbing him by the inner arm. As I did the same. We brought him out of the cell and up to Deanna's house as we all came in. Then we sat at the dining room table. Yeah nice place you've got here. Jesus said as we sat him down. Then Rick, Carl, Michonne, Daryl, Maggie and I all sat at the table. So how did you find us? Rick asked. I followed the noise of when you finished your wall. An putting it back up if I'm not mistaken. For your 54 people you have correct? More than that. Maggie said. Well I appreciate the cookie my compliments to the chief. Jesus continued. Yeah, she ain't here. Daryl chimed in. Look we got off to a bad start. But we're on the same side the living side. Rick and Glenn had every reason to leave me out there, but you didn't. Tell us why we should believe you? Rick questioned. I'll show you. Jesus replied. Wait, you're looking for more settlements. So your already trading with other groups? Maggie said as we all looked at Jesus. Your world's about to get a whole lot bigger. Jesus replied. Then let's prepare the RV. Rick said as we all got up and headed outside. Hey do you mind if I can look through the neighborhood I would really like to see what you have here. Jesus said as I looked at Rick. We can take him Maggie and I have to check on the girls anyway. I said as Maggie nodded in agreement. Once we got the the house I could hear the record player from outside. Maggie went in front of me. If I go in there and see Kathleen jumping on the couches I'm going get that girl. Maggie said. Wait you two have a family? Yeah two girls. Maggie said walking in. Then I whispered to Jesus An one on the way. I said to Jesus so Maggie couldn't hear. She doesn't want really anyone to know so... I continued. Jesus nodded as we walked in. An sure thing Kathleen was jamming out to her favorite song. Kathleen Marie Rhee what are you doing jumping on the sofas?! Maggie yelled crossing her arms. Kathleen got wide eyed. Sorry mom. Kathleen said bowing her head. Oh your gettin it know miss thang. Maggie said running over to her and knocked Kathleen down on the couch and tickled her till she couldn't breathe. Okay okay I'm sorry! I won't do it again promise! Kathleen said still laughing then Maggie let her revive and sit up. Hey Kathleen go get Enid I'm making lunch. I said as she ran upstairs. Well welcome to our home uhh there's not much to see but this is what we work with. I said giving Jesus a glass of water. You two really have an amazing place this is beautiful. Jesus said looking around. Thank you. Maggie said as she got up and handed me the bread from the bread box. Then I got a knife and a banana from the table and knife holder. Maggie got our blender out that we found a week ago and all the girls love there smoothies. So Jesus do you have a family back home? Maggie asked putting the sandwiches together. Well we're kinda all family like your community is. Jesus exclaimed. Oh hey I got you the toothpaste you wanted. I said speaking to Maggie. She looked at me. Finally. I guess we were out huh. Maggie said the kissed me on the check thank you honey. Maggie said walking in the hallway. Then Enid and Kathleen came down for lunch. Hey just in time I just finished. Then I handed them there plates. An Enid can you go take your mother her drink and pills to her thank you. I said giving them to her. Thank you honey. I said as I kissed her forehead. Kathleen shrugged her shoulders. Hey dad. Why does mom have to take those pills everyday? Kathleen asked taking a bite of her sandwich. Well honey your mother is going through some changes right now. But she's perfectly fine. Don't worry about it. I said. Then I began eating my sandwich.

Enid's talk...

I walked to moms room to see she was checking herself out in the mirror. Mom was a little bigger then normal but she pregnant for goodness sake. But then I noticed dark bruises on her back. Mom breathed out as she touched a few of them. I put my hand over my mouth. Then mom put her shirt back down as I walked in. Hey honey thank you. Would you kindly put them on my nightstand thank you Enid. Mom said as she went to go brush her teeth now finally that we all got toothpaste. Then I went to her sink then I sat on the bathtub ledge. Mom? Why do you have bruises all over you back? I said looking up at her. She was looking at her face in the mirror then spit the toothpaste out in the sink. She took a deep breath. Enid. Sometimes pregnancy's can be a struggle but I wouldn't know that. But I just know an I'm just having some back pains that's all. But I'm only three months so I'm not to worried. Mom said then put her mid length hair into a ponytail. Well maybe you shouldn't go today to the new place. I said as she looked at me and sighed. Enid I know your worried about me but I'm fine okay. I love you. She said kissing my  forehead. I love you too and smiled back. Then I went back downstairs and grabbed out my note book an began to write. An eat my lunch.
